Ive been having struggles with the patcher because it wont let me select my minecraft.jar
In the "Original" bar, my minecraft doesn't automatically show up, so i try to find but I can't.

Ok starting to go a bit crazy here. I installed the LB Photo Realism Pack on a friends machine and it works no problem. Our computer are custom builds and near identical in every way.
On my machine the game will sit at the Mojang screen for a few seconds and then crash to desktop. Oddly enough if I click "Test Minecraft" in the patcher the game starts just fine and runs great. It only crashes when I try to run it outside of the patcher.

How do I change it back to the original texture pack (if I have to delete my .bin will it cause my mo creature horses to despawn?) Any body who answers this will earn a gold-diamond sandwich
Not sure what the deal is, but currently the patcher for this and BL/BG doesn't work for me. Clicking the button to patch starts the process, but it immediately hangs without giving an error and its not too uncommon that it causes my ATI display drivers to hang as well.
This is on a clean install. Display drivers and Java are up-to-date. Both have worked prior without any issue.

u cant use this patcher if u deletet the meta-inf directory. oh, and u shoudnt use it if ure using a texturepack higher than 64x64 cause it wont work with the gui api (somehow this patcher is overwriting some files the mod needs). and i dont even know if 64x64 texturepacks are working with that mod ...
but maybe its something completely different, the above stuff is just the reason why i coudnt use this patcher earlier (u can just take another meta-inf folder and put it into the minecraft.jar, but it will break gui api if u patch the .jar after that).

Having a little problem. It would seem that when I used this patch with the Tron-themed texture pack I somehow...well, it's the default now. How do I change it back?

I seem to have some problems. When I try to open my minecraft.jar in the java thingy that pops up, it says it's experiencing a number of problems. A window pops up which reads:

And then it says someting about deleting my .jar file and downloading it again.
This is someting I would rather want to ignore. I have installed two mods: Zombe's Modpack (Only flymod) and Mo' Creatures mod. I do not wish to have to install these again, is there a way for me to fix this problem without having to delete my things, and will I be able to install my previous mods if i delete the .jar and try again?

Minecraft hanging on the Mojang screen and then closing. This is happening with all 256 texture packs, patcher is the common denominator (so if better light, grass etc, but it happened even without that)
Updating Java fixed it once, next time it did it again, updating Java again did not fix it.
Did you download MC or do you playin the browser?

There was an error opening the minecraft.jar. This may be because:
-The file has already been patched
-There was an update that this patcher cannot handle
-There is another conflicting mod applied
-The jar file is invalid or corrupted
And then it says someting about deleting my .jar file and downloading it again.
This is someting I would rather want to ignore. I have installed two mods: Zombe's Modpack (Only flymod) and Mo' Creatures mod. I do not wish to have to install these again, is there a way for me to fix this problem without having to delete my things, and will I be able to install my previous mods if i delete the .jar and try again?

Updating Java fixed it once, next time it did it again, updating Java again did not fix it.
