HELP!
how do i change back to the deafult theme??
after using this, misas texturepack is the regular pack for me :S
Send an private msg to me and tell me! =)
You don't. Try just redownloading the jar, then patch it to whatever resolution you want WITHOUT A PACK SELECTED. Then the selector should work with packs of that size.

Every moment, a thousand worlds are born; every moment a thousand worlds die. For what is a dream but a world, at once brief and eternal, alien and familiar to the mind?
I keep hitting the same problem, when trying to patch the mod. (Im on a MAC btw)
I am trying to use the Borderlands texture pack, which i have downloaded as well as the MAC version of the MCpatcher.
After opening the patcher i tick the box and click 'browse', after which i open up the file and click on one of the files e.g. chain_1.png
Then i get a box with 'copy to clipart' at the bottom and on the MCpatcher i can't select Patch. Any suggestions to where i've gone wrong?
Thanks in advance.

You have to choose the compressed .zip file you downloaded which contains the whole texture pack, THEN click patch.
I want to install this only because it comes with bettergrass, as im not interested in custom texture packs(other than quandary, but that's not HD).
Do I HAVE to use an HD texture pack for this to work?
Is there any way i could install only bettergrass?
In my .minecraft folder , I don't have a minecraft.jar folder....what do I do?
well obviously what you don't do is play the game since that is impossible without a minecraft.jar
srsly though, minecraft.jar is not a folder, it is a jar file. It is also not in the .minecraft folder, but rather in the .minecraft/bin folder. You could also provide what OS you are using and where this supposed .minecraft folder you are looking in resides.
Fro what I can tell, Im doing everything right. Before I begin, I get rid of EVERY minecraft version and my bin. I then unzip my stored minecraft.zip. From there I open it and update it. Then I open Mcpatcher. All of the bars are filled in, I move down to the texture pack section. I select the Compressed version of the texture pack file. 32x32, animated water/lava/fire. Click patch. RACES up to 25% then stops. Doesnt budge at but, I can't even click anywhere on it.
Please help?
Im using 32x32 Faithful.

I'm just gonna teleport back home. "/sethome" FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
My patch is added just fine into the game, but it lags like all hell. I can't get absolutely anything done. Is there something I did wrong when patching my 128x128 texture pack?

128x128 packs are extremely system intensive mate, your pc may not be up to it.
Um the Lapiz ore block isnt showing up in caves its transparent and yes my texture pack has an ore texture for it in the right place...let me search the thread to see if this is just normal and will be patched later.

Anyone? Its the only block thats glitched. I'm using MCRegion and Optimine.
Edit:Nevermind I redid it this time with custom animated water turned on and it seemed to fix it....I didnt turn it on b.c I was afraid of performance drop since I'm on laptop but I didnt loose a single frame! Man I love mods lol.

I did some testing and it seems lapis ore blocks only appear as long as Animated Water, Animated Lava, AND Animated Fire are all checked
so wacky
Hey xau, I'm lovin your texture patcher, it has really made Minecraft a much more enjoyable experience for me.
Though I do have a future feature request if you were so inclined to try and implement it.
(I did skim through the thread a bit, but at 73 pages without a search function gets kinda tedious.)
Ya see, in my Minecraft I LOVE paintings, I love decorating my walls with artwork and even using paintings as fake tiles, wood paneling, bookshelves, curtains, or anything else that tickles my fancy. But my problem is that I want my paintings to be a higher texture resolution than the rest of the game.
Right now I'm using a 32x32 texture pack, but at the same time I want my paintings to be 128x128. I have tried faking it out by making everything 128x128 but look like a lower resolution, which does make hi-res paintings work without crashing, but of course performance takes a nose-dive as expected.
If it were possible I think it would be AWESOME if you might update your patcher in the future to be able to allow the user to select a texture resolution for the kz.psd file separate from everything else, that way we can have hi-res paintings and still use a low-res texture pack for the rest of the game.

128x128 packs are extremely system intensive mate, your pc may not be up to it.
My desktop is new. Its a quad core processor. It has 8 GB RAM. It has an intel HD accelerator graphics card. All of these are far more powerful then my laptop's specs, and my laptop runs 128x128 almost as good as default.

(If it could be compatible with the "More Paintings" and the "Insane Edition" (Page 4) that would be outstanding!
