I've got pretty much everything already changed, including the hole-in-the-wall refractor ores; I'm just running some tests and getting some screenshots together for the final release. I REALLY like your jack-o-lantern texture though, Square. I'll have to add that to the master terrain.png and create a vignette to match. Your brick texture will go into the alternate texture folder.

If you are going to post a new package, lower case the armor texture extensions (lower case ".png")
Also, make sure you include the inventory and the slime textures from a couple pages back.

All in-game GUI elements have been completely reskinned for better accuracy and more impressive looks (inventory included). The slime I'll add before release. Thanks for reminding me of Rimblemenji.
On a completely unrelated note, I will probably delay the release until xau's HD fix is updated to work with the November 10 update, and possibly also wait until a relatively bug-free version of the Biome Terrain mod is released (in a world covered by endless water, anyone?). Currently the pack WORKS via the texture selector in-game, but with fail texturing on bloodstone and brick and no animation on water and lava (as expected of HD textures sans xau's patcher). Until xau updates MCpatcher or until Notch decides to support HD texture packs, the OFFICIAL release will be on hold. Besides, there's still a few things I'd like to do with the pack (axes, flint, sticks, feathers, pigs/chickens/cows/zombie pigmen, gunpowder, lightstone dust, etc.).
I'm also waiting to see if wild8900 replies to my PM about releasing the pack.
Already done lightstone; pretty much the entire terrain.png is finished. If you're wanting to work on textures, look into texturing some of the neutral mobs or the Zombie Pigmen. Here's my current ideas:
Chicken = Miroc
Cow = Habarool
Pig = minor re-skin to more closely resemble the pigs from Calbania Island
Zombie Pigman = Poh
If anyone is changing my pack then please, feel free to post it but do so in this thread. If you want to make your own thread just make sure its all your original content, none of mine. That being said, the content I didn't make (armor and gui) is up to the creators.
EDIT: Hope I don't sound mean or anything, this is just how I handle my creations. Also, I think it would be marvelous if there was some separate rather than inner competition with my pack :wink.gif:
No competition here; I'm just trying to help finish what you started is all. =) You guys made a marvelous effort and provided a hell of a lot of stuff, and credit is due. I guess you could think of me as an unofficial part of the team? XD If you guys are still working on this pack in the shadows somewhere, feel free to use what I and the rest of the guys in this thread have concocted -- that's what it's there for.
Anyway, here's some screens of what's done so far. Please note that the pack is suffering from glitches induced by its 32x32 textures.

Poh for zombie pigmen is a great idea; if only they had an alternate skin for their aggro state =P. I do recall that being suggested before too, but forgot to mention it. Miroc is a good idea for chickens, probably more fitting shape-wise than my suggestion of the Tarble from Manda Island Ruins.

Spew out something big and I'll add you to the team ;P

Then please take a look at the edited post above. =) I should think that qualifies.
I've been lurking on this thread for a while, because this thread is awesome and I've been trying to use it by hybridizing things as they come along. I saw a couple of the pumpkin textures and I thought that maybe there was one other appropriate shape.
Oh, well the reason that I was confused is because there is a vignette.png & a pumkinblur.png. Though right now I'm wondering which one you meant it for.
cool beans, man.

I'm not much of an artist but I did what I could.
What about a wearable Zakoban head? Don't you wonder what it's like to see the world through a reaverbot eye? Heheh.
Zakobon head sounds pretty badass.
