Also, Redstone MUST be altered to the Reaverbot Eye, perhaps three to a block of Redstone Ore. We simply cannot have Legends without the Reaverbot Eye.
I think so as well. If redstone ore blocks have eyes in them however, then what is the dust? What are the redstone torches?
Maybe the placed dust could look something like reaverbot eyes on the ground, outlined by a thin dark "crevice" that glows red when active. Lines of that crevice could come off as part of the trail. I still think redstone torches would do well and make sense as some kind of encapsulated (or not) refractor, seeing as they provide power to the trail.
I'm also wondering if normal torches ought be changed, since they haven't been altered for this pack (they're the same ones the pack he based this on used).
And now there's the question of all the Nether blocks... =P
Sword = Blade Arm
Bow = Mega Buster
Arrows = Buster Shots (the round, oblong shots fired from Trigger's buster represented as a flat sprite)
Pickaxe = Drill Arm
Shovel = Grand Grenade (used to blow up dirt walls in Legends 1)
Axe = Blade Arm (different variety, perhaps the Legends 2 Blade Arm)
Hoe = Spreader (players of Legends 2 will remember it was made using old farming equipment, the Sower)
Fishing Rod = Vacuum Arm (let's suck in some fish)
Flint and Steel = Hyper Shell (what better to set things on fire with?)
Bucket = Canteen
Food = Energy Pellets (various sizes, bigger = more health value)
Also, Redstone MUST be altered to the Reaverbot Eye, perhaps three to a block of Redstone Ore. We simply cannot have Legends without the Reaverbot Eye.
I dont see how would be possible to make the shovel be a Grand Grenade without being very ackward (using a grenade to dig instead of throwing it???)
Some things cannot be touched, food would also get really strange without messing the game code to change the recipes. (pork becomming a battery... wtf?)
About the Redstone, what about Red Lines? A reaverbot eye on every block with redstone would get really ugly, but an Eye in the center of 2 crossing lines would be nice.

I'm not talking about altering food recipes; I'm talking about changing the various foods to the little red cubes found in the Legends series, the ones that replenish Trigger's health. The more health value a food has, the bigger its respective pellet size, just the way it is in Legends. By this rule, grilled pork would be larger than uncooked pork, fish would be the smallest, mushroom soup would be the largest, and so forth. There's nothing in the logic that says I can't process an energy pellet to make it more "healthy", as it were, so cooking pork would still hold, as would grilling fish.
I do like your Reaverbot Eye idea though. And Saber's idea for Quantum Refractors replacing Redstone Torches is excellent. Come to think of it, why not just replace ALL ore with Refractor Shards (excluding Redstone of course) and the refined ores with full-sized Refractors?
EDIT: Edited the "fan edit" terrain to include the Reaverbot Eye as Redstone Ore. It's a start anyway...
Eh, my personal preference is for the original terrain.png that Wild provided. His smooth stone does look like Minecraft's original cobblestone, but it makes more sense logically the way he provided it because it looks natural, and the cobblestone looks processed.
I tried his original terrain file first and frankly it didn't seem all that different from the default textures while I was underground. Besides, breaking what appears to be cobblestone suddenly generates what appears to be processed metallic blocks, which doesn't make any sense -- breaking something should DECREASE its level of order and structure, not INCREASE it.

I think of it more as natural and man-made. His smooth stone looks natural, his cobble looks man-made. Pretty much anything man-made looks more structured and orderly than anything natural, no? But whatever eh, preferences will be. Minecraft isn't realistic anyway, obviously. =P

Of course, but as I was just editing into my other post, the underworld of the Legends universe is itself already processed and man-made; given that Minecraft defaults to smooth stone for constructing underground areas, it makes more sense in terms of Legends to set smooth stone to the ruins look rather than that of a simple natural cavern. Just trying to maintain the look and feel as much as possible.
I tried editing the terrain file to include the new block textures and it worked, but now all my torches/flames/ladders have a white blocky texture to them. Anyone have a copy of the file that's fixed?
Updated these textures for Boo.
It looks like we might have some more picture frames now. But I am not sure. I have not updated that file.
Also, I performed some extreme copy and paste when I replaced diamonds, gold and red stone.
I think it's important to note that the grass and leaves should be in grayscale, because as of 1.2 the game will collour those using some gradient things i've found in the .jar
its remblemenji from rockman dash 2... i dont make reskins often... so its not that good..
be glad to have sujestions on how to improbe apon it XD
It looks pretty good to me! =P This is a pretty swell match, too. Too bad it's so hard to find slimes xD!
@Guedez Hmm, seems like it might be tricky to adjust the biome foliage and grass gradients to achieve the desired color of grass/tree leaves. Hopefully there's an easy way!
Edit: I haven't bothered to change the foliage and grass gradients, but here's the original terrain.png with the "better" double-chest and gray-scale foliage/grass.
Edit 2: And here's an updated art file, as five new paintings were added and you probably don't want to end up with pink boxes in your paintings =P.
Don't yell at me, but I jury-rigged some snow-covered grass onto the terrain.png. It was kinda bugging me to see Doku's thing on there and not the new grass. I used MegaManTrigger's template because I really liked the new redstone.
In another thread some guys figured out just what part of the trianlge pic that is the overlay for grass and leaves corresponds to which biome.
Here is a relevant picture and explanation so that you can customize the color for each biome:

I reversed the code and generated an image that should show exactly how the biomes map to the two colors.png files.
* RAINFOREST (rainforest)
* SEASONAL FOREST (seasonal forest)
* PLAINS (plains)
* DESERT (desert)
* FOREST (forest)
* SHRUBLAND (shrubland)
* SAVANNA (savanna)
* SWAMPLAND (swampland)
* TAIGA (taiga)
* TUNDRA (tundra)

I thought that the current double-chest was ugly, so I edited it to be a single chest.
Here it is on:

Gah, you beat me to it. Oh well. Now that my pumpkins aren't transparent I may find some :tongue.gif:

EDIT: old file
- Wild's original smooth stone texture
- Reaverbot eye redstone ore blocks
- Correct snow-covered grass texture (Thanks Altolol)
- Single-keyhole double chest
- Grayscale foliage and grass textures to allow proper biome-recoloring
I refuse to play Minecraft without it!
