Hah. I read it over once, and was like... why the hell is dy- HAHAHA.
I just now tried this texture pack and I have a question.
Are cooked porkchops suppose to look like orange dots? At first I purely thought it was a glitch for having a missing texture but it occurs to me that you guys could have done ti on purpose due to it looking a lot like how health item drops looked in MML, or for that matter any mega man game really.
Another one of mine is...while the bow does look like a buster and the arrows look like buster shots in the inventory they don't in use. Is there a way to make the arrows look like buster shots after they are fired? Also would it be possible to change the sound fx to that of a buster shot or is that out of your power? It may well be as it's a sound and not visual but I thought I'd just put that out there.
I haven't tried it very long but so far I am fairly impressed. It also makes me want to go find my copy of MML and MML2 and play them again.
It's funny how I didn't think about it at first but MC and MML do share the going deep into the earth to find things similarities after I thought about it a bit.
My only real complaint is that it seems the blue of lapis lazui and of diamond is a BIT too similar(grated that's a problem in the normal game too) and that the lapis, and other dyes are still in the default formate, hide seems to be too. Perhaps you could change the leather into bolts or something? It would make some sense I thinks eeing how even hide armor seems to have been converted to trigger's armor.
for some reason the 0.8_2 version isn't working for me. the original on the front page will work and it looks great but i'd like to revel in the full glory of this texture pack.
I'm running the 1.2_02 version of minecraft, just re downloaded it to be sure it's up to date. and tried a few of the earlier versions of the texture pack, none of which are still on the sites anymore. wondering if anyone else running the most current version of minecraft is having this problem.
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
~*EDIT*~
Ok so i suck and i'm new at this. just ran Xau's HD fix patcher. **** is so cash. for anyone that can't get this to work, go find Xau's page... acctually here it is. GL with it tho i don't really know what i did to fix it.

The most recent version works fine; you're aware that it downloads in .rar, but the minecraft executable only accepts .zip files in the texturepack folder, right? That one stumped me for a little while, too.
Heya, I just signed up to tell you of some glitches I noticed, wether you have or not- Because this texture pack is awesome. Also thanks to the Trigger skin, I'm using it. <3
^proof this skin is awesome is that I registered in this forum just to help ye out
-(Clay) Bricks are bugged. They appear as Quarter portal, Quarter animated fire with transparency(Allowing XRay through the bricks) and half Stones. This is a very useful hack for the game for located large quantities of Lava.
-Compasses and clocks don't work. This I can explain easily; You reskinned the clocks and compasses. The compass' dial is not to be reskinned, and yet you did, and the clock's case should be transparent in the purple area. Basically, you should only recolor and detail the case, as for the compass- Don't touch it, basically, unless you understand how it works.
-Water should retain a level of transparency. It is impossible to see what's below you from the waters surface, making any water-related activity or action much more difficult. This includes fishing, digging under water, collecting lost items, diving, sailing and escaping.
Water's color is also so light it looks a bit like ice. Seeing as I don't live in a snowy island, I have no idea what ice looks like though.
-Can't you maybe turn the swords into a sort of Z-Saber like weapon? An energy weapon, much like the buster, would make MUCH more sense.
-Sticks could be reskinned into blue tubes- Notice how most of the stick items used ingame, you have retextured into blue handled weapons or tools with other parts. Then reskin the silk into some... Buster related object... To make crafting of a buster more sensible. :tongue.gif:
-Netherrack appears as water blocks. Perhaps this is intended? I doubt it, though, and so, again- Netherrack should be changed, hell if I know to what.

The most recent texture pack update is not on the first page; rather, it's on one of the pages preceding this one. Since this texture is not a 16x16 like the original, it requires a patcher in order to work right, which can be found here (viewtopic.php?f=25&t=46173), and just about every complaint that you have will be fixed with a combination of the most recent pack and the patcher. Don't keep the texture pack in the game's texture pack folder, as that only supports other 16x16 packs.

This was my issue last time I downloaded the pack, but I think that was before .8

No one using a creeper avatar has ever posted anything worth reading.
Fact.
Water's color is non-debatable; that's the color of water in Legends and that's how it's going to stay. I've already taken water's non-transparency into account and it'll be updated with the next release...whenever that is (college senior = busy).
No one's arguing about the COLOR, I assure you, and yet, as you intend to do, the transparency is... in a way, 'needed'. It's extremely difficult for me to find missing items in the ocean when it's shallow water.
Thanks to xau's new custom portal animation feature, Nether portals have been reskinned with a cycling gradient to more closely resemble the portals from Elysium's Side Area!
Just about everything is complete in this version except for the mobs and vehicles. Some of the reskins for the items are as follows:
It may seem strange to tip an "arrow" with a "battery", but my reasoning runs something along the lines of battery + weapons scrap = energy projectile. Sure, it's a little corny, but since when did Roll's contraptions make any more sense?
I'm still looking into sound mods, but the biggest barrier to that is the lack of available SFX from the Legends games. If ANYONE can rip the buster shot sounds and anything else relevant (like footsteps, perhaps), it'd be much appreciated if you'd contribute.
Again, please post any problems or suggestions you may have, and remember to use xau's HD texture patcher.
THIS JUST GOES TO SHOW YOU SHOULD CHECK THE UPDATE BEFORE COMMENTING ON ERRORS IN IT.
awesome update!
oh, yeah, I could prolly hook you up with some Legends experts, although I'm not certain they can help with sounds, It's worth asking. That is, if you want me to. :tongue.gif:

The orange and red dots are differing amounts of Life Energy, derived from the Life Energy cubes from Legends.
Sounds aren't my department and as far as I know the sound modder isn't working with us anymore.
Arrow reskin works just fine in use; I've tested it thousands of times.
Lapis and diamond are radically different colors, both in the mod and in the vanilla pack. Try calibrating your monitor.
I've already been working on turning hides into junk parts.
