Just updated MC (I know, I'm a bit late :tongue.gif:) And went into my home to find my fireplace looking like this Glad you are updating the Texture pack :biggrin.gif:
Messed up on the picture there, here's a link. http://i54.tinypic.com/27yvbbn.png. Guess I'm still a noob to the forums. Anyway as you can see I was relatively freaked out when my gold block was flaming and my netherack was water. XD
But it looks absolutely fabulous :smile.gif: I wouldn't mind a bit more contrast in the crafting grid area though. Maybe a darker background for the grid and the output?
Given the tight constraints I don't have much flexibility to work with here as far as laying out the grid areas AND working it into the stone work. Sadly this will have to do until I'm done and can figure out how to somehow work the grid in there... maybe with small holes or something. I dunno.
Have you thought about doing something like steelfeathers did only the other way around with the sheets of paper on the bottom and the stone on the top or something like that.
Your items in my opinion are some of the best but I was disappointed to see your actual armor doesn't match the item, otherwise this is a very nice pack.
I was messing around in Photoshop, and I made an alternate skeleton based on Dusty's design. I figured I would share it in case anyone else wanted to use it.

The armor skins are not done, for now they are using placeholders from Eld's pack.

I really like how the inventory screen is coming out, it looks very nice!
Your tex-pack is the only one I ever use, and has been since I first installed it. And I got my wife to start playing Minecraft; your texture pack is what she uses also!
Apologies for side-tracking so much with such a minor change! I know these updates aren't exactly thrilling, nor will they be as much of a benefit as say... the armor skins being finished, especially with how time-consuming it is.
The cherry on top of this sad cake is that not much progress was made on the inventory tonight... regardless, I am having fun with it:

That's what this is all about. Your pack is free. Having fun is the least you can do for yourself. :tongue.gif:
On a side note, I can't say I like the new interface. I like the present one so much more I'd probably hack it back in if it gets changed. It's one of the things that make your pack so superior IMO: a nice, clean interface that matches the theme.

I'll be honest -- I'm not even sure if this inventory is going to make the final cut when I finish it. There are 6 other GUI graphics that need to be redone in the same style, and I can't just copy/paste like I did with the current inventory. That's A LOT of work. In the end though, this will make a nice little portfolio piece... and maybe something to slowly work on(as far as the other GUIs go) when I'm bored.

Sorry, forgot to reply to this. Heh, I really should get out of this habit of saving posts to respond to for later and just do it on the spot.
I seriously don't know about this. I'd hate to cover up the majority of the brickwork with paper, and double the time to do so.
I think what I'm considering doing is when I'm done, placing some sort of indicators for each slot. This can be either a hole in the stone, or a gem or something. This depends on how poor readability is when all is said and done. I put some extra effort into increasing the readability of the sections by darkening the edges where it's indicating the crafting area and such.
I definitely won't release anything that impedes functionality. Also, I have tested it out in-game and forgot all about the "Crafting" text :/ Gonna have to do something about that as well.
The texture pack looks great! The screenshots really show off the texture pack, though the grass, sand, an leaves might need a bit more detail put into them. Other then that...great job!

Curse PremiumLooks great!
Looks like it takes a painstakingly long time though. :tongue.gif:
...But I support it.
Seriously, I read the entire thread from beginning to end.
Very nice work you have here.
