The water is my favorite and least favorite part. It is SOO BEAUTIFUL :smile.gif:! But on the other hand, it doesn't change. I was looking at it in awe when I went on, and I felt as if my heart skipped a beat... no changing, or currents :sad.gif:
Impressive, and unique. I have a major suggestion, though- I hate the way wood logs look. Try staying a little closer to the original texture but tweak it to still be unique.
And a suggestion for the cobble- a little less bricks of it in there and maybe have those two colors in it a little closer to each other - More like the traditional style of MineCraft stone.

No. Just no. Please do your research before you spout off such wildly insane accusations. Your sig says you support Gerodoku, now if you had read the credits of that pack(which is based on Doku's pack) then you would see my name in it. Why is my name credited in said pack? Because many of the items are from MY pack. Now, I don't know much about Doku, but from what I gathered when he came back he used Gerodoku as a base to kick-start off his pack again, which of course, contained some of my art. Now like I said, I haven't kept track of Doku's pack, but either way all of the work in my pack is completely original, and my items happen to float around and get used a lot in other texture packs.
That looks amazing :ohmy.gif:
You should think about changing the text as well.
Do you mind me asking what program you use to make these and if you have any other professional work? I really love your style.
Sadly I just use MSPaint. I have tried other programs but I don't really pixel for a profession so I've never had the drive to adapt(which takes a lot of effort after using the same program for years) to something new.
As I said no profession here, just a hobby. I've done just a few commissions but nothing that was ever released I imagine. You can check my pixeljoint gallery here: http://www.pixeljoint.com/p/629.htm but I don't really have much there. Most of my stuff is unfinished so sits on my hard drive.
This is beautiful, great pixel work, gorgeous artwork, amazing style and shading skills. You sir, have to share this with the world as soon as it's finished. If only you could change the font, it would be perfect.
These doku fanboys are seriously getting too annoying.
Anyways, I've been using this texture pack since 1.3 and is one of my favorites. It has a clean and unique style to it. I'm loving that new title too. :]
Only thing left to do is the minecart before the update. Well, the minecart is done but I'm not happy with it at all. If I can't get it to the point I'm happy with by tomorrow night I'll just release the pack anyways and fix the minecart later.
I'm curious what you have for the minecart now. You're probably just being hard on yourself! I imagine even a straightforward design would look quite tasty with your color palettes. :wink.gif:

The boat and minecart textures are... well, they're not really that flexible at all. Hell, the boat apparently doesn't even utilize the whole image and I had to half-ass crop the interior down because Minecraft cut off about 12 pixels off the bottom of the image.
Anyways, now that I know how they work I can possibly restart the minecart over and keep what I've learned in mind.
Okay! The big update has finally arrived. Changes aaaaare:
> New interface graphics finally!
> Map icon
> All new graphics have been replaced with custom graphics, this includes:
>> Trap Door
>> Dead Shrub
>> Live Shrub, which is a bush
>> Tall Grass(probably changed later to be made taller)
> New boat graphic
> New minecart graphic(which will most likely be changed later).
> New sandstone
> New cotton
> Pine leaf graphics. I may have to revisit though
> New tilled soil
If anyone could get a screenshot of the live shrub I'd appreciated it. I explored about five worlds(including new generated ones) and couldn't find one.
Beautiful pixel art you have made here. Although I saw the bed and I dont like how the pillow looks, I guess it might need some extra shading. Also, i just noticed that in the wood planks, the colors are different from the other wood textures (Chests, workbenches note blocks etc.) and I'm not very sure if that works pretty well because I like the colors of the wooden planks and if all the wooden blocks had its color, it might make more sense.

The chests were some of the first graphics I made for this pack, and since I started I feel like my style towards the pack has changed a lot. However, the darker wood was a conscious decision because I wanted variety in the world, instead of the interior of a house looking all of the same shade. However, I may eventually revisit the oldest graphics and touch them up, but I'm not sure. They're also some of the graphics that define the pack and I'd hate to lose that sense of definition. There are always alternatives though :smile.gif:
Wow this pack is amazing :ohmy.gif: I may of said this before but it's my favourite texture pack :smile.gif:
On a side note, I was wondering how you got those screenshots of your mobs?
Thank you :smile.gif: And for the mobs I recreated them in 3ds Max and applied my textures to them.

Other than that, I love it. I'm dling it now.
Patch your game, sir

Boat interior is heavily inspired by Wayuku's pack: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/220918-16x15-wayukian-pack-wiparmor-previews-on-page-13/
Sorry! I just really liked the idea of a pile of rope sitting in the boat.
