My host stability seems to wax and wane, all I can say is to try again later. I'll upload a mirror to filefront, but I can't say I will keep it up to date.
I got it last night. It's good. I like the smooth-stone tiling, but i think its a little on the "brown" side.... I'd like it more if the smooth-stone and cobble were more of a grey color,
but that's just me.
I had the same thought, so I went in and did it myself a while back. It was pretty simple... desaturate, replace color, etc etc. Not a perfect job, but a good enough hack for me. The cobblestone, however, was a different story. I wanted it to be gray along with the smoothstone and the ores, but I just couldn't get dusty's cobble texture to look good in a grayscale form with my limited skills. And I'm no pixel artist. So I ripped kas's Painterly cobblestone (and mossy cobble) texture, quadrupled it, and messed with it to get a texture I liked. It doesn't fit amazingly with the pixel art feel of the rest of the pack, but, like the smoothstone, it's good enough for me. YMMV.
Here's my terrain.png. Be aware that it contains all the little modifications I've made---I would recommend just copying and pasting what you want.
If you take the smoothstone/ores, don't forget the lapis lazuli on the bottom left. :smile.gif:
Aye, the problem is I can't please everyone. From an artistic point of view, pure grays are horrible. Most artists will avoid them, and I choose to go with a more earthly palette so you'll see browns in my "natural" grays. There is also a lot of hue shifting as well, where I shift colors slightly around when I go from highlights to shadows, as this is more natural and again, artistically important. These are the type of criticisms I get towards my pack but it's hard to dismiss my artistic judgment in favor of those type of criticisms. However, that does not mean I don't listen, it just means as of right now, with only a single pack and release, I'll just stick to my personal favorite variations. Like I said, I can't please everyone, though I do try to appeal to the majority(hence many changes that have occurred over the work of this pack). What I hope to do is eventually allow customization, whether this is a website that handles it easily for everyone, or simply a file with alternatives. There are already plenty of variations of different graphics, from unreleased to old that has been replaced to what will be simply color edits, and hopefully in the end I can make this pack more appealing for everyone.
The date in the thread title will usually be indicative of whether it's compatible with a newer update. If people want I could start including the version number it has been made compatible with.
I've been dealing with a pretty bad infection for the last week so I've been bedridden most of the time, I'll try to work on an update once I get back on my feet.

You're ill too? It's been plaguing my existence for the past week and I'm sick of it.
Ya I had an infection in my neck, ended up going to the Hospital to get it tested, make sure it didn't reach my lymph node. Worst part is the swelling was invading the bottom of my jaw/mouth, and my neck so eating/drinking was very, very painful. I ended up dehydrated by the time I was at the hospital, and was hardly able to eat or drink for the past week. They also didn't give me anything for the pain, which sucks because it was a miserable week, and ibuprofen wasn't cutting it.
Hi, ummm...There is a problem with the bricks in your texture pack. The brick BLOCKS that is. Not the individually brick. So anyway, for some weird reason it has the portal and fire texture on it as well. On the top right corners and bottom left corners of the brick blocks they are brick blocks but on the top left and bottom right they have on the top left:portal texture and bottom right: fire texture. What i also found weird was that you could look into the fire parts and see underground. as you can see the brick block is messed up. Also, why are some saplings pink? If i could get some answers that would be great!
Thanks, Coleslaw35

1) Dusty's pack isn't updated yet for 1.5, i recommend doing it yourself or using another texture pack
2) The brick issue means you didn't use a HD patcher for the textures, see ANY 32x32 or higher pack thread on the forum for instructions etc.
Oh man for some reason the link to the images didnt show up.

> New stuff for the railroads
> Redone the grass side, as well as made it compatible with the new coloring
Also redoing the new Minecraft logo because it's cool to look at, and looks even more fun to remake. Oh ya, also working on the new cobblestone some more.
I'm making a texture pack: (16x) Silent Night

Curse PremiumDoesn't say it here: http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Texture_Pack
Yes it is.
Sometimes the wiki can be slow.
I'm asking you, as a friend... Just...put an end to me.

I love your pack and have been using it for a few months.
Before this pack, I used Eld and a 16x purist.
Keep up the great work!
