What's new:
> Bed graphics
> Redstone repeater blocks
> Redstone dust now moved into new location for 1.3 support
> Added default graphics into items to facilitate lack of custom icons(so you can at least see them in 1.3)
I plan to hopefully get the icons done soon. I haven't messed with redstone repeaters so I'm not sure how the new blocks look so if anyone could post screenshots that'd be great.
I just copy/pasted over what I knew was added, so if I missed any blocks let me know. I purposefully left out the "bleeding obsidian" since it currently has no known purpose and I have no idea what it will even be for to draw inspiration for it.
I will try to have an updated version this weekend. The new stuff isn't exactly the easiest stuff to portray though so my ideas are... well, I have none!
Glad to hear it!
Not sure if you saw this, but it's kind of amazing

this is what it really looks like:
I forgot to post about this, heh. I can't say it's the direction I would have taken, but at the same time it's definitely well done and caters to my lazyness of not wanting to make my own. I still will have to, but damn this makes me feel like it's even less of a reason to!
First of all, I would like to say: this texture pack is really great. I really, really enjoy the unique style that you implemented, and said style fits the game perfectly.
However, the lava, at least as it is now, isn't up the the standards of the rest of the pack. It seems low-quality and just doesn't quite fit the theme. Some really nice ones come from packs like GeruDoku, if you want an idea of what I mean by "nice." Just an example for you.
Also, the water looks really choppy when it's still. The waves are there, but they don't flow very well, almost like they're playing frame by frame. When the water moves down a slope or ect., however, it looks great.
Overall, really nice pack. My only real problems were the lava and water. The rest is fantastic. Keep up the great work, I look forward to continuing using your pack in the future.

The lava is generated by code since I haven't added custom lava yet.
The water is jerky because it's custom animated, thus moves at pixel increments. When played in minecraft however the textures single pixels are actually 3-4 pixels on the block, 'causing them to appear very jumpy instead of smooth. You can change this by disabled custom water with the patcher. It will code the water to move like the waterfalls, being much smoother.
The mob spawner will definitely be getting a remake eventually. As for glass... I'm just waiting for notch to add semi-transparency support to the glass block.
Believe me, your pack simply stands out. The others don't even come close.
Your style is unmatched. The other guy that copied part of it and added his own stuff (Dokusomething) did a good job, yeah, but only you can do the perfect job.
I could write paragraphs and paragraphs stating the reasons for my compliments, but I'd rather keep it simple. Your pack, even unfinished, is already the best.
Now, the reason for this post: PLEASE don't abandon it. Finish it. Your pack deserves to be the official game pack. I'm eager to see the next update. I'd help if I could do this kind of suff but I can't. :tongue.gif:
Another excellent idea in my opinnion would be to add worthy fonts to match the rest of the graphics. After applying your pack the font seems ugly and out of place. At this moment I'm looking for higher resolution fonts to patch in.
Awesome, an update! Very nice work on the bed. I love it. And your RS repeater looks like the smoothstone slab, one of my favorite blocks in the pack. Excellent. :smile.gif:
Your work really is unrivaled. Don't ever give up on this project, please. Even your discarded/old textures are miles ahead of the rest of the texture packs on these forums, as evidenced by how many people are copying your art in their compilations.
Looking forward to your future additions. Thanks for what you've done so far.
constructive critisism i do not like ur blue wools, they have weird cross lines on them, i do not like them, maybe if they didnt have the lines id be happier with them

Wools are heavily under construction. I originally wanted to given each color a useful and different look but still versatile enough to be compatible with the default usage of them.

I'm fine with the wools. There are other items that could use a higher priority than the wools IMO.
Is there any place where we could find a changelog, a todo list or whatever where we could keep track of your work, finalized textures, textures to be created/improved etc?

Nay, sadly. The problem is nothing is ever finished. As I work on it if I find myself too unhappy with something I will change it. Sometimes I don't even think something looks that bad until I suddenly have an idea and make something that I think looks better. There really is no linear flow to my work, nothing that could be documented, and I'm not exactly working on any specific graphics in any order.

I've had a texture for a bed for about a week.
