It was called "The Best of Quandary Texture Pack" released in late December of 2010 (which was nothing special, just a simple remix with a few edits), then it was "Quandary Reborn", and now its Coterie Craft (which is truly something).
I noticed that I kinda surpassed him in view count and all, but even then I don't want none of you to assume he took my content (which is not the case). In fact, we kinda shared our content a bit, even though I've used his much more, but then refined the textures afterward for good measure and reason. We can only hope ExtraNoise will come back and keep his pack going; but if he doesn't, he still deserves to leave a legacy...
The most I can do to keep his legacy would be to allow his content in my Customizer (which is bugged somehow, but I'm considering my options to start a new one). Or, if you want... bring me some good ol' criticism to my pack.
And though I don't believe that this thread is my place to speak, but I would be more than happy to be of service to you guys, if you'd like.
I use both Quandary and Coterie Craft. Thank you for making the customizer, now I can have the best of both!
Your very welcome... but about that customizer, it's in v1.6 still. When it should have been in v1.7 when I updated. So... I better update for your sake ^^
This texture pack has a lot of textures from Coterie Craft...
Anyway. Nice work.
That's hard to hear. I really hope this pack doesn't die out; it's a classic.
If somebody is going to set up a dedicated Quandary customizer, the original seasons can still be found here and I would be happy to contribute some of my own modifications if anybody wants them.

I do not believe this pack will die out. Sure... maybe this thread might die out. But I will not let Quandary's legacy die out, and neither will you. Like you said, it's a classic. :cool.gif:
Though I must say, I have seen many remixes of his work... and my work as well. So if there will be a direct source to find all your Quandary delights, may I ask that the Quandary fans take the initiative to supply my customizer, for the benefit of bringing Quandary's content at a compatible and lively state.
I know you guys have been starving for some words from the creator of this pack, ExtraNoise, so here is one thread my younger bro found somehow that should give you a little update on how things are going:
Guys, I could use some advice. I've been very tempted lately to give up on Quandary. I feel like I've really pigeonholed myself into what Quandary is "about" and have little creative freedoms that are immediately jumped upon by the community if I wander too far. Truth is, this is my own fault. I still like the idea of Quandary, but I feel stuck by it.
Normally, if this was any other project, I'd just start a new texture pack and keep both going at the same time. But my time is tight at the moment and creating texture packs is a lot of work, especially as new releases with continual new blocks/items keep coming out.
If I did wrap it up, it could possibly be absorbed into Painterly (at least parts of it). Kas and I have talked about this in the past, but I've never made the commitment. You'll still find parts of Quandary in Painterly, though, here and there. Alternatively, there is a pretty active group of users updating Quandary on their own. It's not official, but I've been encouraging it over the last few months. I love seeing these spin-off packs take shape. So at least I know that it probably wouldn't die.
But I'd feel bad, for one. Like I let a lot of people down. I know that not all of them would be happy with switching to Painterly or using someone else's future work. Truth be told? I'm not sure I would either. But I'm not real with the feeling that I'm forced to work on Quandary, either.

Hmm... This makes me even more convinced that we need an official customizer. That way, EN would be free to make any textures he wants, but we still have the option of using the old ones. Does anyone know if he'd be okay with it?

Curse PremiumPlease... before you post...
at least check the comment TWO messages above yours!
Yes, this works for 1.7.3.
Anyway. Nice work.
Coterie Craft was based off of this texture pack, originally called "Best of Quandary"

Curse PremiumThis thread may look a bit misleading as it says that its at Beta 1.6... but the website offers Quandary in Beta 1.7.+ anyway, if you haven't noticed.
