ExtraNoise, please change the glowstone back to a more vanilla version. That kind of style works for all the other ores--because the other ores are always surrounded by solid stone; but the glowstone is either surrounded by netherrack or various other materials, and it looks terribly out of place.
Many thanks if you do revert it, and if not, I look forward to the new piston textures regardless.

Would you ever consider doing a customizer (kind of like this)? It could be useful for the people who want to mix and match your seasonal stuff, as well as if they want a different variation of the cobblestone, etc.
I agree with this! Quandary was the first texture pack I used, which I got back in December and I've been using it ever since! But recently you have changed some things that I really liked, namely the original brick-like sandstone and I also loved the cobblestone bricks. Please add the customizer!
I'm (as well as the actual site creators) trying to get as many big name texture packers on board with this as possible. This one would be a fantastic addition to the site, especially if Coterie gets his textures on there too.
You missed the shears in the rigged version. I made another one with some improvements from other texture packs. If you don't like it, don't use it. Don't bug me. Quandary 4.0a Birak for 1.7 (Dropbox)
It's lighter and less high-contrast than the current Quandary. Shears and pistons added (just a simple copy from the default pack) and beds and cakes fixed. Enjoy.
I was on your main site today, and it said the site had expired. I REALLY hope it's just because you're doing an update. But if not, I'm sorry for whatever hardships you may be coming across; and I hope they improve sometime soon.

However, I feel that with every update now, I'm sensing a pattern. No offense, but the terrain seems to get worse, rather than improved within the next update. Though I have seen improvement in 4.1:
-Glowstone is better than before, but with an uncanny grid, unfortunate for the nether though.
-Seasons are not as gloomy, now that Fall now has a yellow grasscolor.png
-Fixed the gray grass 'bug' in fast mode.
One thing I would like to point out is that the shears that are used to shave sheep's wool and trim tree leaves are now tree clippers. Whether or not this is a bad thing, I'm not too sure. But its quite inaccurate. Though I'm not sure, in the same respect, if sheep shears (found in default) can be used as tree clippers...
On a positive note, I have been working on new lava for my own pack, which I believe should go to ExtraNoise along with my chainmail armor models and sprites. Just need to animate it though:
And I would also like to point out that I have started a customizer of my pack, but mainly accompanied with the varying textures of the many versions of Quandary. So you should be able to find the cobblestone you want or whatever changes you feel necessary: http://www.minecraftcustomizer.net/view.php?pack=Coterie Craft Custom
And though my permissions have been granted in the past, I want to be absolutely sure if this is appropriate, ExtraNoise?
I'm jumping on Cpt. Corn's boat, saying that it would be fabulous if support for the Minecraft Customizer was added.
Especially since they seem to be adding a "choose by category" option - so it would be easy to pick whichever season you wanted, in one click!
Just wondering, is the "Seasons Rotator" coming back? It would be amazing if it was, since that gave Minecraft a fitting touch - it would be particularly amazing if it could check which date it was, and which hemisphere you're on, and then adjust the pack accordingly -- so that during the winter, you'll have winter stuff, and during the summer, you'll have summer stuff.
Also, (I realize this is a very fat chance), do you have any plans for making an Official HD Quandary Texture?
Since I started using 32x Textures, the Hotbar (the health-point hearts are what lies in the front of my mind, as I say write this) looks very.. Low-quality, in all packs.
Now, I'm not saying you didn't do a good job - you did an amazing job! It would simply be nice to see a 32x version of this texture pack.
Also, Cpt. Corn - That lava has some very clear patterns splattered all over it. Looks way weird, as there is no natural flow - just.. Lines, really. And I know that's a still picture, but I'm sure it would be visible in the motion as well.

There are two kinds of custom water and lava. One is animated which requires a separate file, and the other is just an image contained in terrain.png. I think Quandary only has the one image.
Speaking of animated water and lava, is there any plan to add full animation in the future? It sure would look nice.
Many thanks if you do revert it, and if not, I look forward to the new piston textures regardless.

I may not have any pictures or anything fancy at the moment, but at least I provided proper crediting to ExtraNoise's work.
When will the official 1.7 update be out? Thanks.

Quandary has been 1.7-ready for almost 3 weeks at this point, although the topic title doesn't say so.
Otherwise I would definitely use this pack.
