Thought I'd post my technique for making the non-fancy sidegrass match the gradients.
If you're using Photoshop, you can Filter>Blur>Average the gradients to get the average colour. Then fill a new layer with that colour and set the blending properties to Mutliply. Then delete the extra pixels.
yeah, should've stuck with the old cobble, wool and most of all, glowstone. Changing them was definitely a step in the wrong direction, and they were already perfect the way they were.
Oh, and if you were ever looking for inspiration for logs and perhaps hotbar/inventory/container gui, try looking at jolicraft. They'd go nice with the default feel of the pack, without being distractingly different IMO. Just a thought.
The Quandary texture pack for Minecraft is designed to act as a subtle replacement to the original Minecraft textures. Quandary uses the original textures...
^ this is why people love this texture pack so much! I mean, just look at your site's testimonies..
I think it is agreed that we want the old cobblestone back. I am so happy to see this pack is still being updated, but want the cobblestone back as soon as possible.
I love Quandary so much, but there are a few tweaks I make to the terrain.png every update :wink.gif:
One of them is changing the color of the dirt. It just seems...off to me, unnatural. Here's a screen of my tweaked dirt:
Paste this over your terrain.png if you want your dirt to look like that:
Would you ever consider doing a customizer (kind of like this)? It could be useful for the people who want to mix and match your seasonal stuff, as well as if they want a different variation of the cobblestone, etc.
I agree with this! Quandary was the first texture pack I used, which I got back in December and I've been using it ever since! But recently you have changed some things that I really liked, namely the original brick-like sandstone and I also loved the cobblestone bricks. Please add the customizer!
Just thought you should know that Jeb released a preview of the 1.7 terrain.png so that texture packs will be ready when 1.7 drops. I would love to see Quandry ready soon after the release. :biggrin.gif:

I also like the new cobble.
I don't think it looks horrible, I just prefer the other one

Hope that's helpful.
Oh, and I love version 4!
The older one was perfect IMHO. (3.4)

EDIT: Here is my rigged version. Just has default pistons, everything else is the regular "Birak" pack.
