If he were so inclined, he could carry a Nimitz class supercarrier, but that'd take him two trips. That ranks about an eight on my scale, with Mars being a 9 and the Andromeda galaxy being nearly a 10.

thanks i should prop read these things b4 i post
But is there vid on how to install the the texture rotator. It would be cool to have changing seaons and i dint know how to make it work.
Well, I finally finished my Quandary style mobs for Mo' Creatures. Or at least some of them.
Predators and Prey - Polar Bear, Bear, Lions, Fox, Boar, Bunny, Duck, Wolf, and Birds. - (Goes in the .jar file.)
Optional Bird Sounds - Renamed and rearranged the bird sound files to be more atmospheric and to better match the new skins. - (Goes in the "resources" folder.)
Horses - Light, Brown, Black, Unicorn, Pegasus, Pack Horse, Nightmare, and Black Pegasus. - (Goes in the .jar file.)
The only gripe I have with it is the dye items! Everything else, win! :biggrin.gif: I'll be using this pack until the real Quandary comes out~
The dye item sprites, I figured, should be in the hands of ExtraNoise to create... when he updates those sprites, they will be added in mine. :biggrin.gif:
But if it takes too long, I will attempt to make my own; or more possibly... I will make them when I have time.
I hope you like it. There's a lot of room for improvement. A lot.

Well, at first I expected it to be just the original Quandary with the new objects from the original placed over, but it looks like effort was actually done on this pack. The only gripe I have with it is the dye items! Everything else, win! :biggrin.gif: I'll be using this pack until the real Quandary comes out~
Yah, I did. Probably could update it some more since I've been tweaking the new tiles for my own use. But there's a limit to how much work I want to put in when I know that a real version is in the pipes.
Hey guys,
I'm sorry if this issue has been cleared up, but I didn't see a resolution for it...
I will start off by saying that this is a fantastic texture pack! So quick and easy to use and looks great. HOWEVER, I don't seem to get the pink trees and extreme colour contrast between grass and the different seasons (I have tried all of the seasons as well - am I missing something?). The tree leaves get more sparse and it looks good, but those colours don't correspond with the screenshots on the official Quandary website.
I saw some mention of a know issue with 'biomes'... Does this have something to do with the issues I'm experiencing? Is anybody else experiencing them for that matter?
EDIT: Update* Also just discovered that the top of my furnace texture is transparent and allows me to see deep into the map.

This is common. The quandary texture pack is missing stuff from Beta 1.2 (which also includes a texture for the top of a furnace, so that's why its invisible). Not only that, but the seasons don't work like they used to because of biome compliancy, which gives surface grass and leaf textures a varying hue of green. That green gets mixed in with the seasons, and pretty much ruins the effect. Although, for mac users, they're okay. Mac users that are using texture packs get gray grass if they use a biome compliant pack.
You can use my "Quandary Reborn" texture pack in my signature as an alternative until the original Quandary is updated. It includes a lot of stuff, including armor models and the portal cake (both made by me), and much more for you to see.
There are two downloads for it, one for biome compliancy, and one for Mac users. I hope you enjoy. :biggrin.gif:
Thanks heaps Cpt. Corn! That's an awesome texture pack fix!
Also thank you for clearing everything up - thought I was alone/the only one getting the issues for a while.

I am quite against the Quandary Reborn texture pack actually. It doesn't feel like Quandary at all - more like Painterly.
I agree. I love the simplistic changes that the real Quandary has (ex: cobblestone and mossy cobblestone) and the other one doesn't have that feel at all.

Not even the armor models?... Well, in respect, I see that the changes I have made either improved Quandary to the point that it isn't Quandary or... tarnished Quandary all together, which I fear. But I can tell you that it will never be Painterly (which I don't like at all, except for the guis) nor to the point of Simplecraft.
My pack is based on how you, my friend, as well as everyone else perceives how Minecraft should look. So by the knowledge of a person's overall likes and dislikes, I can pick the ones that feel suitable to the pack, and improve textures that overall improve the pack as a whole. It is no longer Quandary. But it is based from Quandary. Thus, it is a new shape as of something that has been reborn... and I best hope its for the best I can and will provide.

I really like how the armor models match the icons, they are really well done. I just prefer to use the original Quandary textures for the environment. Your textures are still nice, just not really to my liking.
Don't sell yourself short, man. Your skins are waaaay better than Dr. Zhark's. Any idea when you're going to finish the rest?
I'm not sure. It depends on when I have time. I have ideas though. I'd like to make the ogres horribly mutated versions of Steve, Black Steve and Beast Boy. And since the Nether Pigs use gold swords and werewolves need to be killed by gold swords, I thought about making the werewolf a half-wolf/half-pigman.
It is a PITA to do aggressive mobs though. Since they, you know, try to eat you when you're trying to look at the textures. And I personally don't use them in my game.
I'm also planning on doing Quintessential Creatures and I'm looking into Humans+ and More Creeps and Weirdos for possible retexturing too.
Of course, credit will be given, it's just a pack i'm mixing to make people out there that do not like your awesome pack happy. In future updates however, when official quandary will be updated, I will change bits of it, and it will be a separate pack, and not a temporary fix (still then, credit will be given).
Love your pack by the way :biggrin.gif:!
My texture pack is here to stay. At first, it was temporary, but now... it has been reborn! You can expect more updates to come as long as I'm here. :biggrin.gif:
My goal is to be within the highest majority of favoritism, much like what your saying.
I also accept contributions to my pack, which are greatly appreciated.
You accept contributions? :ohmy.gif:! Never knew that.
That's great, because I'm not good enough to make a whole texture pack myself, but I can always help with yours, i'll start right away, after posting my temporary fix :biggrin.gif:!
Yes, such as contributors like bonemouse Master7432, Axapez, and windowsguy...
bonemouse made some awesome terrain textures (like cobblestone) and the squid mob.
Master7432 brings unofficial updates that sometimes contains pure epicness!
Axapez is always thinking of what belongs and what doesn't, overall, he regulates the content of my texture pack, which results in a better texture pack.
windowsguy is great at getting screenshots for when I didn't have the time to do them myself.
Any and all contributors have a special place in this pack, and I'm sure there is plenty of room for you.
Edit: Make sure you give credit to Painterly, because you are using its guis.
