I love this pack. There's only one thing I don't like, and it's the paintings with arrows. Use those paintings for other pictures.
Problem is, trying to get a good-looking, 32x32 pixel picture is a bit tough. I'm guessing Koolwitak made those for people who explore caves and need a way to indicate the way out in case of getting lost :smile.gif:
Originally I did, but now I'm not sure if people actually use them... I don't even use them, I just use signs.
I could try to find two more pictures to replace them, but I might be messing up someone's cave system.
I really wish polls still worked on this topic so I could just ask if anyone actually uses the arrows...
I still use them and would really appreciate it if you kept them :smile.gif:
Ok so after following the instructions and everything I am having a bit of trouble running the patcher. I'm not getting an original or output and I put the patch in the bin folder and that still didn't work so I was wondering if anyone could help since I tried everything i found on the youtube video instructions and op and such
hey i just wanted to give u some big ups and map props on this!!
LOOKS BEAUTIFULL!!!

PEACE BE WITH YOU
thanks for the custom textures.
but i have a probleme with water and lava...
i use Minecrafter to install mod. and everything works but not lava and water.
i tryed to do it manually too, but it's the same.
and finally i tryed to do as you written in readme.txt, then i remplace texture alone, and it's still not working....
it s looks like the texture have a wrong resolution, or something...
Make sure you've read the instructions carefully and are doing everything right. If you're doing it right, you won't need to install ANYTHING manually. This is not a mod, it's a texture pack, and it comes with a HD Patcher that will install it for you. IF you read the instructions.
So, what's going on? I've used this texture pack for a while now on another computer, then I put Minecraft on this one, put the texture pack in, and this happens. :C
I have never seen this problem before and do not know how to solve it, however I have no doubt this problem is caused by your alternate computer and not by the texture pack.
Try going into your computer's display settings and adjusting the screen resolution to a higher resolution.
In all honesty, I'm at the highest resolution. My choices with the monitor I'm using are 800x600 and 1024x768, I'm running 1024x768.
The server is now open for the last time until about 10 days from now. Tonight is the LAST NIGHT.
I am going on vacation for a week starting friday night, so I won't be around to host the server.
WHAT THIS MEANS is that I will also not be able to update the pack if Notch adds new content...
Someone like Vexx or Raposa or whoever wants to will have to post updated terrain files for me.
Hey I have a problem using your pack. I followed all the steps, but it bugged up my minecraft and I can't even play anymore! After the log-in and the developer logo the window turns black and freezes, not letting me do anything. I tried using the troubleshooter which led me to the 'how to uninstall folder' and that tells me to open the '.minecraft' folder but I don't know what or where that is! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using a Mac or a PC?
On a PC, you should click the windows icon on the bottom left and type "%appdata%" into the search bar.
You should see a folder called "roaming", and inside that there is another folder called ".minecraft"
Delete the "bin" folder and then start up minecraft to re-download all of the original textures.

I couldn't find anything. I'm using windows XP. Also I deleted the minecraft.exe and redownloaded it out of desperation if that matters. Do you know the directory %appdata% would be in maybe?

Click on the windows icon and go to the Control Panel, then go to Folder Options, then go the the View tab,
then look under Advanced Settings, scroll down to the options for Hidden Files and Folders, then set it to
"show hidden files and folders", then go back to the search bar and type in %appdata% (WITH THE % SIGNS)
If using the search bar still doesn't work after showing hidden folders, try following this directory:
Computer > Drive C > Users > Master Account > AppData > Roaming > .minecraft

Hey, I am still getting the Christmas theme, and can't find any info on how to get the normal one in the OP. Any help?
How are you installing the pack? Did you extract the zip file and read the instructions like I said to?
Try watching the video instructions right below the download link, and make sure your volume is on.

I realize Koolwitak is on vacation, so if anyone else can help me, I'd appreciate it.
I'm using windows 7 and trying to install this mixcraft pack.
I just want to use the HD texture pack (I guess the main one without all the alternatives) and I'm using mcpatcher 1.1.11.
I'm able to get the original and output fields to populate just fine, and I checked the texture pack box and am trying to use the Mixcraft HD.zip (the 7M file) which is located in:
C:\Users\(User Name)\Downloads\Mixcraft v24 Pack\New Folder\Complete Texture Packs\Mixcraft HD (main pack)
The patcher runs fine, I get the "Success.... probably" and then try to load minecraft.
Minecraft starts up fine, but is still using my other 32x32 texture pack instead of Mixcraft.
What am I doing wrong? I appreciate any help from anyone.
Thanks.

Alright, I won't change anything. People who don't like them will just have to live with it.

If not, I'll have to uninstall (read:Get the real nater76 to uninstall) this texture pack.

*Cough cough*
They work fine
Well then, I can use my Raichu skin. :smile.gif:
