Yah, cobblestone or mossy cobble... a mix of both. Put it underwater just north of the dam... although you may have to deepen the river for that to work.
Maybe, but making it deeper could take a while... Here are a few possible places:
Do you think another place might work better? Numbers 1 through 4 are much deeper than 5
I like No3 actually... Oh, and if it's possible, use a map editor to erase all the water blocks around the ruins, except for the surface layer. That way, people will be "pulled" down by the current :biggrin.gif:
I like 1, 2 and 4 because you could probably see it from on top of the tower or statue. But 3 is nice because its deserted location
I like either 2 or 3, but remember we might also want to build an underwater base somewhere.

Yep. I wish there was a SMP mod that, when you die, it places a "dead body" or immobile skeleton where you died. Because of the current, it would be difficult to get to the surface without being killed. Ergo, the ruins would be littered with skeletons. Mwahahahaha!

I can't find any minecraft/bin folder. tried deleting my entire minecraft directory and redownloading yet the texture pack is still there >.<
It's in %appdata%\.minecraft\
If you can't find it, click Start, then Run, and type in %appdata%\.minecraft\
That should get you to the right folder... unless you're using a Mac, in which case it's in ~\Library\Application Support\.minecraft (I think).

Or maybe it could place ....... HEROBRINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On one of the posts up there you said that cobblestone square is a logic board? what does that thing do? is it like some kind of redstone computer or clock or something like that?

I think its showing the different redstone circuits
Notch is returning tomorrow, which means back to editing textures for the next version!
The server will still be open occasionally, but I won't be building as much as I do now.

It's all the different logic switches you can do with Redstone. All exist in real life and are used mainly in circuit boards.
I might eventually get rid of it, or at least move it... It does look a bit ugly sitting on that beach...
Hey Koolwitak, I was wondering if you could make the cobblestone look more brick like or something? To me it looks kind of weird from far away. But close up, its fine.

Hi there! I'm absolutely loving your texture pack as it doesn't feel too drastically different from vanilla Minecraft yet looks very ornate at the same time. Just one thing I wanted to know: Is there any way to install clouds into this texture pack? I used xau's patcher and everything ran fine, just no clouds. I saw the "Options and Extras" folder and found the cloud PNG file. I then followed the instructions on exactly how to install it, but I feel like I did something wrong- still no clouds. I'll post exactly what I did so it may be easier to see what I might've done wrong:
1) Located Mixcraft HD file and unzipped it.
2) Added the cloud PNG inside.
3) Highlighted all files (like terrain, cloud, mob, armor, etc.), zipped them, and one new file appeared as compressed as the name "gui"
4) Renamed as "Mixcraft HD" exactly without quotes.
5) Cut the file and then pasted it where the original Mixcraft HD folder was.
After that, I just simply ran xau's patcher again- still no clouds. Anything that could throw light on this solution would be great. Also, if this has been asked and solved already, sorry for the inconvenience then ^^; Oh and I'm running windows 7 if that helps.

Oh, and when you build the dam? Make it about 3-6 blocks wide, so you can fit a staircase in the middle, going down into a mine or something.

I know but I was suggesting for the SMP lol or maybe I should just put on the skin and scare people in the servers lol
Most of the dam is already built... Can't you see it in the numbered image above?

bricks have fire, air, and portals within the bricks...
as do the pumpkins and gold blocks.
how do i fix this?
Look under alternate textures
