Did you HAVE to dig a giant square hole in my map? lol
It's fine, I decided to move a few things anyway: (Blue=Done, Red=Planned)
1) The Lighthouse
2) The Logic Board
3) The Tower
4) The Great Hall
5) The Stone Giant
6) The Spawnhouse
7) The Mansion
8) The Cabin
9) The Sandcastle
10) The Rollercoaster
um.. i downloaded the pack and it works perfectly. but its all christmas stuff. and i dont want christmas stuff. :sad.gif: how do i make it normal looking??
Well you most likely just dropped the whole thing into the minecraft texture pack folder
Easy to follow instructions
Folder navigation:
Mixcraft v23 Pack>>>Complete Texture Packs>>>Mixcraft HD (main pack)
This is the full texture pack, I assume this is what you want to install.
1) select the folder labeled HD Texture Patch
2) Choose operating system
3) Run patcher
4) Check the box beside Texture Pack
5) Hit browse and navigate to the folder mentioned above.
6) Select 32x32, if it does not do it for you.
7) Hit patch.
8) Done
All of these steps are in the How to Install.txt in the above folder.
no i did all those steps. the first time. and my whole ground is snow and presents and christmas trees :sad.gif:

You're doing it wrong. You're patching the main zip file, that's why it's not working. There is another zip file inside the one you downloaded:
Mixcraft v24 Pack>>>Complete Texture Packs>>>Mixcraft HD (main pack)>>>>>>>>Mixcraft HD.zip -> that's the one you need to patch.
^^I second this guys notion, I've downloaded tons of texture packs and I know I did it the right way, christmas galore.

^^I second this guys notion, I've downloaded tons of texture packs and I know I did it the right way, christmas galore.
I have verified many times that there is not a single Christmassy texture in the "Mixcraft HD.zip". If you're patching using the "Mixcraft v23.zip" (as you all are), which is the zipfile which contains ALL the packs, you will get the Christmas edition. Quintuple check your install method. If you're using the correct zipfile, it is 100% impossible to get the Christmas textures, since the correct zipfile contains 0% christmas textures. So, if you're getting Christmas textures, you're doing wrong. Also, every other texture pack I've seen has a different install method to this one. Ensure you READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. DO NOT assume you know everything.

The sad part is that a moron can install a texture pack with the new patcher.. Extract the .zip you download (Obviously) and read the instructions from there. Never had a single issue installing this texture pack.
how do i change the lightstone texture to alternate?(if you tell me I think I can figure all the others out)
You need to open the terrain file with an image editor like Photoshop, Paint.NET, or Gimp.
Then you highlight the new lightstone with the selection tool and drag it onto the old lightstone.
Sorry if this has been discussed already but I was wondering if it is possible to use the original minecraft paintings and armor textures (and if so how to do so)? Thanks for a great texture pack.
Hi there. I am having some problems installing this pack. I seem to be following your semi-cryptic instructions to the point, but still am getting a black screen when I launch Minecraft. Here is my Java error code.

I too am having this exact same issue with the same error code. Followed all the directions as instructed, even unchecked the custom water/lava in the patcher like it said to if I had the black screen issue. Still no dice. Vista x64 setup here, if that matters at all.

Erase the bin folder, launch minecraft to donwload the original files again, close minecraft, install the texture pack.

I've tried that, as the instructions said to.
Ensure that the patcher has the size setting set to 32x32 and nothing else. Usually this occurs when the game tries to render a texture that's not the size it was patched for. Also, remove any texture packs in the ~\.Minecraft\texturepacks folder and try again.
its not that important, but i thought i should point out the latest date says 1/26/10
im not sure if people want to think it wasnt updated for this year. but only the silly ones would think that.
eithher way, i love this pack, been using it since i started minecraft.
So as you probably know, Notch has been on vacation for a while now, so he hasn't added any new content. This is the main reason I have started hosting a server and have been focusing more on that than on the texture pack. Basically I'm just waiting for Notch to come back and add more stuff before I release any new versions...
On that note, here's what we have accomplished so far in the server. We are making very fast progress:
1) The Lighthouse
2) The Logic Board
3) The Tower
4) The Great Hall
5) The Stone Giant
6) The Relic
7) The Spawnhouse
8) The Mansion
9) The Cabin (Planned)
10) The Sandcastle (Planned)
11) The Pyramid (Planned)
12) The Mob Pit (Planned)
13) The Dam (Planned)
14) The Rollercoaster (Planned)

Not sure if this has been covered. I've read back 40 pages and didn't see it, so excuse me if someone has had the same problem.
I loaded the HD complete pack (BTW awesome job, games looks great) runs fine, for awhile. Then it black screens and freezes. Whole system locks down and I have to CTRL+ALT+DEL to the task manager and manually shut Minecraft down. Reload the game and it's fine ( though I have ended up inside walls and such ) for a little while again. It can happen anywhere from 5 minutes in to over an hour later.
This is what windows tells me is going on.

I've uninstalled. Reinstalled. Uninstalled again. Drag and dropped the zip in and out of the texture folder, etc... So if someone could point me in the right direction to correct this problem I would be most grateful. There might even be an animal sacrifice. In the temple to you I build in game, that is...

Thanks.Your pack is great since it combines all best parts of all textures.
also I already had paint.net though.I am a kid too.
