Delete your bin folder, and start minecraft. Once its finished, have another attempt. It MAY be some mods you have that don't like the patcher editing their files.

I figured it out on desktop .exe but not online.
Yeah, no texture pack properly works with the browser version of Minecraft. If you want it to work with the online version, you'll have to put up with the standard water/lava textures, and a few other glitchy textures (most notably netherrack, pumpkin and brick). Just throw the Mixcraft HD.zip from the In-Game Selector Packs folder into the texturepacks folder and use the in-game menu to switch.
Is there a way to make the patcher version with flowing water and lava work with SDK's guns mod. I've been trying to get it to work for a week or so, but no dice. Here's what i posted in SDK's mod thread (viewtopic.php?f=25&t=92206&start=1890):

It doesn't seem to work with the texture pack I use (mixcraft viewtopic.php?f=1021&t=31331) and I believe I may have found what folder may be causing the problem, particularly the "net" folder. Without placing in the net folder it crashes when I load the world, with it, it blackscreens immediately after login. Is there a way to make the two work together? I really want to be able to keep the nicer textures AND use these cool toys.
Something I probably ought to have mentioned: I'm using the full version that requires direct minecraft.jar editing , not the in-game selector. It comes with a patcher for quick and easy, tried both patcher and manual installs, even tried adding the mod to the patcher's que. I have also tried it through the selector and it just locks up at about 90-95% on the update screen, no update actually takes place.
Any advice? I really want all the beautiful textures (including flowing water and lava) in your mod and the guns in SDK's.
When the patcher runs it refreshes the JAR back to vanilla with the new textures, I've tried installing the mod after running the patcher with no luck.

So, you think minecraft is medieval huh? TNT(1863)/Dynamite(7 May 1867) and steel railways(1857) in medieval times? I call BS, sure there's armor and swords, but it's NOT medieval. Either give me a source or cram it!
how do i change the lightstone texture to alternate?(if you tell me I think I can figure all the others out)
You need to open the terrain file with an image editor like Photoshop, Paint.NET, or Gimp.
Then you highlight the new lightstone with the selection tool and drag it onto the old lightstone.

Most probably your problem is that the HD Patcher edits or replaces an essential file for the guns mod. I'd suggest posting in Xau's topic for the HD patcher as well as SDK's, since Xau's patcher is the more flexible of the two, and it would be a simpler task to make them both work that way. However, if both the patcher and the mod edit the same part of a class file (changing the same functions or whatnot), there is no way to make them work together. Some things cannot be perfected, unfortunately.

adding on to what vexx said, the problem is the patcher edits minecraft.class and sdk's mod uses that.
You guys are really missing out on the fun, we just built the entire diagram of logic gates! lol

Here's an overview of the server so far:
I'm thinking... a giant booster-propelled roller coaster on this mountain! How awesome would that be?

Any chance I can get in on the server? Should I send you a PM?
Yeah, send me a message, I just want to make sure no trolls get in here
