This is somewhat of a small update, but it fixes all the leftover issues from the last big update.
The dirty pig and normal pig have been officially switched (you know it had to be done eventually)
Version 24 Includes:
- New sandstone texture! (actually looks like sand instead of wood)
- Higher contrast bedrock (easier to see in the dark)
- Better looking chests (less orange, more brown)
- Included Misa's Pattern Cloth as an alternate (thanks Misa!)
- Updated all text files and checked for errors
- Slightly better looking grass (not quite as bright green)
- Fixed diamond texture (bottom row of pixels was wrong)
- Added a semi-HD AK-47 to the Guns N' Ammo alternates (WIP)
- Switched dirty pig with normal pig (dirty pig is now an alternate)
- Added an alternate grasscolor.png for people who want grass biomes

Oh, and by the way, Koolwitak... Please don't forget to add an alternate, grayscaled, grass texture and an alternate grasscolor.png so we can enable biomes if we want :smile.gif:

On the minecraft patcher the original an output boxes are blank. Am I doing something wrong?
Read the "How to Run Patch" text file in the "HD Texture Patch" folder.
Basically it says you need to find your ".minecraft" folder (the one with all your save files)
and put the patcher into the "bin" folder, then try running the patcher from the bin folder.

There's a link (i think) to a server mod that fixes the terrain generation bug (y'see where ther're those odd boundaries where sand and grass are cut-off and not smooth? Squarish due to chunks? that shouldn't happen... it's something Notch messed up. NOTE: You will need to make a new map after this, but if you want it to look the same, just ensure it uses the same random seed.
I will use this from now on, but there are only a few bad chuncks so far, so we won't even notice them.

Ok so I figured out what the issue with the blackscreen was. If you switch to a 16 by 16 texture pack it will crash your client and when you reopen it you will get a blackscreen after mojang. Youll have to move the texturepack file zip that you switched to out of the texture pack folder and boot up minecraft again and it should work. As for the pack i must say again that i absolutely almost jizzed myself when i first booted up the game. Only suggestion i can make is to make the stone tile better. Its very easy to see the individual blocks when they are under you. Not that big of an issue though so i'll give you 9.99 out of 10

Go download it now and look in the Extras folder. You see? I'm waaaaaaaaaaaaay ahead of you =D
Yeah you did. You just downloaded it and threw it into the texturepacks folder without thinking.
Read my first post. You see what it says in big bold letters? Extract the folder and read the instructions!
