This pack comes with its own character skin, so your old one was replaced with the one in the pack
If you want to put in your own skin, you need to open "minecraft.jar" with WinRAR and open the "mobs" folder
Then find the char.png of the skin you want and drag and drop it into that folder in the archive
(I'm assuming you installed the Regular Texture Pack version of Mixcraft HD)
Koolwitak, for the next version of the pack... can you possibly include an alt character skin... maybe something like a stealth-type character (ninja, or summat)?

If you want to look like a ninja, just put on the leather armor XP
I might make an alternate character anyway... I dont know...
Hmm... If anybody pays attention to my SSP mod port request... I'll have some lovely pictures of a World Tree with this pack :biggrin.gif:
I'll bet it'll look lovely... now all we need is that glowstone texture...

I have no idea what you're talking about... World Tree?
Also, which one looks like a better lightstone... or ? lol

Help! My compass and watch are broken! Netherrock looks like blocks of water! Bricks look weird!
You either used the Regular Texture Pack and didn't install the HD Texture Patcher,
or you used the Texture Selector Pack and you obviously didn't read "Problems.txt"

Help! I can't extract the texture pack on my mac! I can't figure out how to run RAR on a mac!

Use this http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/19139/ez7z to open winrar files is OSX. I don't like the program though and only use it when absolutely necessary. MacUpdates has practically every utility you could need to add on to your mac, bookmark the site, use google, and never ever get stopped at such a basic spot in an instillation process again.

CHANGE LOG FOR VERSION 22
- Clouds changed to "no clouds" (done)
- More aesthetically pleasing lightstone (in progress)
- Better looking diamond block (not started)
- Still lava animation (not started)
- Make grass tile better (not started)
I don't like the idea if lightstone being used as lamps. They will look pretty bad in the nether. That texture looks like a japanese paper lamp. I don't know how to make textures because I would have made it look like the one I suggested.
But since most people might like that I hope you will still keep the old texture somewhere as an optional one.
it looks out of place in the nether. It's a stone, so it shouldn't really have those oddly regular bands across it. A curved banding pattern that blends in better with the rest of the texture would be ideal. Preferably a golden colour, but with a rippled stone texture would be absolutely ideal... also, perhaps make it a tileable texture? It would look better from a distance in the Nether, trust me.
Yeah, you can patch Minecraft to use 32x32 textures and still use it through the Texture Pack Selector... not a foolproof method though. The Texture Selector Packs are normally used by people who are too lazy or (to be blunt) ignorant, and as such neglect to install the HD patch simply because they cannot figure it out, or are frightened of what might happen to to their precious Minecraft if they fiddle with it.
Hey I have the texture pack on and looking great but I have a weird problem with pumpkins, I'd add a screenshot but don't know how, anyway it just has the old water and lava textures on the pumpkin instead of the face...

So many people ignore the preemptive help provided in the text files... and then come here asking questions that have been asked a million times over. Perhaps you should copy that block of text that says READ THIS FIRST from the post up top of this page into the OP... unless you've already done that XD

I kind of like the "abstract art" look of it, but maybe I can work on that one some more...
Even still, wouldn't you agree that it looks more aesthetically pleasing than the current one?

READ THIS POST BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS!
The HD Texture Patcher included in the download is NOT THE MOST RECENT PATCHER
Please download THIS patch and use this one instead of the one in the pack ---> viewtopic.php?f=1021&t=46173
This should fix any problems you have with the custom water and custom lava not working
