WoW! Lots of questions here xD. You must be really busy answering everyone's questions :tongue.gif:.
Anyhow, I have no questions for you, video was very simple to follow and it installed flawlessly, and after playing with it for a few days I must say, great pack! It makes my world look gorgeous, I'd post screenshots but I'm currently using a friend's laptop :wink.gif:, default graphics, bleh x[. Once you go Kool you never go back XD.
Anyhow great job! I posted this just to say I think the diamond block needs some work, I do lots of building with it but it looks way too complicated and I miss the old simple light, simple, and shiny look it had,

It only takes a minute or two to answer each one, I just hate when people ask questions I already answered,
especially if I answered that question on the same page it was asked, then I just do lots of facepalming

I'm going to be doing some work on both the diamond texture and the lightstone texture,
so you should have something to look foreward to in the next version! =D
Hello, i installed the pack and it looks great, however my computer lags a lot with it for me. Is there any way i can remove it? Im not so smart when it comes to these things. Thank you.

I installed the texture pack, and to my surprise, i foundthat my brick block where messed up. I mean they looked like this from the top view
just stack the above pictures together, and you see what i mean
i uninstalled it, and reinstalled, then it worked fine. Do you know what the problem was?

Help! My compass and watch are broken! Netherrock looks like blocks of water! Bricks look weird!
You either used the Regular Texture Pack and didn't install the HD Texture Patcher,
or you used the Texture Selector Pack and you obviously didn't read "Problems.txt"
The moral of the story is:READ THE TEXT FILES, THEY ARE THERE FOR A REASON!!
Hey koolwitak - you might wanna update your first-post images to more accurately show the (really really neat!) new icons for coal, flint, etc.
Just a thought :biggrin.gif:
Yeah, but think of it from my point of view. To do that, I would have to go into my house and put everything in my inventory into a box and search through my chests and get one of every item and blah blah blah, etc...
But you're probably right, I guess I should go do that... right after I eat my ramen and play more Final Fantasy =D
no matter what i do i cant get this texture pack to apply on my mac with etter pack it just refuses to apply im using the newest version of the patcher and i follow the direction but it wont apply
edit: nvm instead of using your method i decided to used betterzip for mac which is more similar to the way you do it on windows
edit 2: now i got this error

look at my house nice n clean how how i like it "ssssssssssssssssss......" fuuuuuuuuuu
All you gotta do is instead of installing the "Christmas Edition" pack, just install the regular "Mixcraft HD" pack. Simple, really.
Nice job with the still water animation, Koolwitak! May I suggest for the flowing water to look like it flows a bit faster? Waterfalls and streams are a fair bit sluggish... I believe if you simply stretched the water texture (similar to Notch's original water texture) it should give the illusion of fast-flowing water... Unless of course you wish to try creating a custom_water_flowing.png from scratch (which I have not seen done before... it'd be a first!)...
Also... perhaps clouds can be a bit more transparent... I dunno. Maybe.
Can somebody explain how I'm supposed to extract the minecraft.jar file on a mac? The only
winRAR thing for mac is called RAR and it opens up a command line thing that doesn't let me type anything. I tried turning the jar file into a zip, then adding the other files, and then turning it back into a zip and then to a jar, but that doesn't let me patch and it breaks the game anyway.

Use this http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/19139/ez7z to open winrar files is OSX. I don't like the program though and only use it when absolutely necessary. MacUpdates has practically every utility you could need to add on to your mac, bookmark the site, use google, and never ever get stopped at such a basic spot in an instillation process again.
I love the look of this pack...a lot, but the second I applied it minecraft is as laggy as hell on all render distances, usually i run very smoothly at short (stupid graphics chip), but now can't even move correctly with tiny...any idea whats going on?

voting no clouds, looks out of place with almost all packs, gets in way of high structures, no purpose.
