Thanks, it worked like that but yeh the bugs are there sadly :/... Will these be fixed soon? or maybe another way to install on the mac added?
So you found the bin folder and opened it... now you need to open "Minecraft.jar" with WinRAR
- Install WinRAR for mac
- Right click "Minecraft.jar" (or hold the ctrl key and click)
- Select "Open with..."
- Select "WinRAR Archiver"
If you do not see WinRAR Archiver in the list:
- Select "choose default program"
- Browse your computer for "WinRAR.exe"
When you have successfully opened "Minecraft.jar" with WinRAR,
continue to follow the mac instructions included in the pack
But the problem with lightstone is that it is not managed as a real light source. It makes light around but the lightning of the block itself depends on the other source of light in the room. So the lighstone doesn't seem to glow...
Try this one, just right click and save as "terrain.png", then move it into "minecraft.jar"
EDIT: Nevermind, I can already see it's too yellow... give me another 10 minutes
hello i was just wondering if i am the only person that gets a very messed up brick ? with this texture pack
BTW THIS TEXTURE PACKS IS AMAZING :tongue.gif:

You did one of these two things, both of which are wrong:
1) You're using the Regular Texture Pack and you didnt install the HD Texture Patch
2) You're using the Texture Selector Pack and you didn't read "Problems.txt"
Figure out which thing you didn't do and go do it, that should fix your problem
I've already tried it in game, it's not satisfying.
I can't seem to come up with one that looks good in-game
I think I still want the background to be darker than the mineral chunks, but I could make the background a more orange color and make the mineral chucks more white and less yellow to make them look brighter
You can try to work on it if you want to, but I'm going to try it again some other time
Just installed it a few minutes ago, ignore the install video and just follow the instructions in the downloaded folder worked perfectly and has you skip a step or two that were in the video.
Awesome texture pack makes my world look beautiful.
What am I doing wrong? I dragged all the files into the archeived minecraft.jar, renamed it minecraft.jar? Texture pack works fine, but patcher won't patch.

I am having a problem since minecraft updated today.... i repatched everything and now it will randomly go to a black screen and freeze.... It works for a few but will randomly crash...it worked fine until this newest update.... It runs fine with out the texture pack...
I am just wondering if i am the only person having this problem?
I installed the pack by inserting the .zip into the texture pack folder and running the patcher
That's not how you install the pack, read the instructions and try it again
Sorry, after I posted this I already found the instructions.
Just re-installed using the correct procedure now, but there aren't any texture changes whatsoever. I'm using the "Regular Textures Pack - Mixcraft HD" set. I even opened the patcher and just simply clicked "patch" to see if it had worked.
Yes, I moved everything to its designated folder and didn't mix up those that went in certain folders and were listed as such. Is the pack currently outdated?
**EDIT: I decided to delete my bin folder and re-install it, then re-install the pack and patch, and it works now.

yes this also is happening to me. V20 was running fine and when i updated it, it runs for a few minutes then goes pitch black. Awesome pack though

You need to download the latest patcher and use that one instead ---> viewtopic.php?f=1021&t=46173
(You're going to have to delete the bin folder, start minecraft, and re-install the texture pack)
If that doesn't work, try unchecking custom water and custom lava in the patcher before patching

Is it impossible that you make it more compatible with beta? Like it being very glitchy when you use it as ZIP file.
Obviously you didn't read the "problems.txt" file in the Texture Selector Packs folder
The glitches occur for ALL high definition texture packs when installing them into the texture selector
That's why you should use the Regular Texture Packs and follow the instructions in THAT folder
These glitches can ONLY be fixed by Notch, when he decides to provide support for HD texture packs
I'm having a minor issue that I wish to fix if possible? I looked in your first post to see if there was a fix labeled for it, but I can't find it. The textures themselves look great, but all blocks are outlined what looks to be the lava or a fire animation. These outlines noticed best when close most of the bricks, but can be picked out from distance. My torches also spread some weird line on my screen when I hold it and doesn't go away. When placed, they have a box outline too. Any fix?
Here are some pictures to better explain it:

Patcher was successful, replaced default look with Mixcraft.
When I play, the grass is the same model as snow. Why is this? Is it a glitch? How do I fix it?

Yes, it work on beta
It already does support Wild Grass! Or at least it should... I put the grass texture in the terrain file...
Can someone try the Wild Grass mod and confirm that it works with this pack?
I am just wondering if i am the only person having this problem?
