I'm worried that the Beta update will probably change a whole lot of stuff... Notch may even modify the terrain.png and related class files enough that entire texture packs will have to be redone... I hope not, though.
On a semi-unrelated note, I won't be around from the 20th (I'm leaving for holiday on the exact day that Minecraft Beta comes out )... I should be back in the first few days of January.
If you're having trouble installing the 32x32 pack, I can walk you through it step by step over Skype or AIM (the trees in this picture only look brownish because of the biome) (download link and more pictures below)

Another amazing video of my pack (turn the volume up)

Even if he does modify the terrain file, I will just modify mine to match his, easy as mushroom stew!

Thanks for the compliment, but please dont quote my entire first post, it takes up a ton of space on the page
Did you ever think of making a custom water flow? At least for the still water? I bet you could use the one from bumpmaft as a base and then make it look like yours! That would be awesome :smile.gif:
I agree. Koolwitak, while we're waiting for the update, can you look at how AaGeOn Bumpmaft or Sanguine textures do their still water animations? I know how they do it - it's in a separate file, and Bumpmaft pulls it off so well... the light plays over the surface of the water ripples excellently :biggrin.gif:
By the way, I installed the pack of mods that contains BetterGrass and betterLight, among a few others... BetterLight makes this pack look freakin' awesome! I highly recommend it!
Koolwitak, I don't suppose you'd like to have another go at changing the clouds? I think if you used blank white color and a bigger file, you'd get better results... Oh, and it'd probably have to have no intermediate transparencies - either completely transparent or completely solid for each pixel... But we really need some better shaped clouds

I'm currently trying to make the Bumpmaft water animation look the same color and lightness as mine

I know! I always use betterlight, but I don't really want to include any mods in my texture pack

Once again... EXTRACT THE DOWNLOADED FILE BEFORE ASKING A STUPID QUESTION.
Seriously. Look to see what's in there. There is several folders. One contains the easy-install (for noobs), and one contains the more-difficult install for more knowledgeable people. I had a tutorial in pictures on the last page or two. Follow it.
Wild Grass - Looked through packs for ideas, found good grass texture, added to terrain file
Foliage Color - Tested multiple files, found good one, did lots of editing, looks amazing
Better Armor - In progress, still searching for best ones, things look good
PLEASE COMMENT, AND STAY TUNED FOR MORE UPDATES!! Love you all
This sounds great! V20 looks like it will be a big success! Sorry about the cloud thing, I hope you get it working again soon <3 There will still be clouds in the next version right? Either way I cant wait!
Oh and by the way the chrismtas edition looks soooooooo good! I totally cant wait to use it =D
Excellent work, man! When you're done with water animation.... can we haz lava animation too? Please :biggrin.gif:
I hope you have more luck with the clouds... might i suggest Photoshop's Liquify toolbox?
I will probably not use the Christmas edition though... I prefer normalcy :wink.gif:
I dont Under stand whats all this Mucking around with Files when you could load them up from the menu in-game? Plus in the "How to Install Mac" When since Mac and Linux Machines have WinRAR, like ... wtf? where can i get a copy of this? ive been searching Google for 10 min and given up ive downloaded 3 or 4 files with the tags winrar for mac and their exe files. wtf!! Other Wise this is one Very Very Nice Texture Pack you have Created and i look forward to Playing with it.
Please if anyone has any good Servers in Brisbane Australia thats somewhat Low Populated please tell me the IP.

Then you clearly did not read the text file in the pack called "The Difference"
If you try to use 32x32 or higher packs in the in-game menu, they have MANY glitches:
- Netherstone looks like blocks of water
- Foliagecolor and Grasscolor do not work
- The compass and the watch do not work
- Water, lava, and fire have no animations
- The portal to the nether has no animation
- Gold, brick, and pumpkins have glitched textures

Thanks mate, cant wait to see this baby in action knowing how good it looks in bumpmaft XD
Each of the following shows my progress on various aspects of the coming Version 21:
Christmas Edition - Snow grass, present chest, present flowers, snowball reeds, tree lights = DONE
- Santa suit, zombie santa, christmas paintings, (other stuff...) = NOT DONE
Still Water Animation - Edited Bumpmaft's texture to fit Mixcraft, looks almost perfect
Better Clouds - Failed, clouds flicker at higher resolutions, project temporarily dropped
Wild Grass - Looked through packs for ideas, found good grass texture, added to terrain file
Foliage Color - Tested multiple files, found good one, did lots of editing, looks amazing
Better Armor - In progress, still searching for best ones, things look good

I just updated ALL of the pictures on the first page, they are now previews of what Version 21 looks like
Trust me everyone, this version will leave all the other versions in the dust, especially with Christmas Edition
Those both sound like great ideas! I will see what I can do :wink.gif:
