I've got a little problem here. I'm using this pack through the built in texture pack menu. Pulled all the files into a base folder, Zipped them, and put it in the folder. Everything runs great, with two exceptions. The Netherstone looks like blue rain, and the jack-o-lantern has one quarter on each face showing fire. Anyone have any ideas?

~.- read the difference.txt or problems.txt included in the pack you downloaded, and if im not mistaken you dont need to "pull all the files into a base folder, zip them", etc, just use the zip included in the "Mixcraft_v19_Pack.zip\Mixcraft v19 Pack\Texture Selector Packs (easier)\Mixcraft HD"
also, if you are trying to use the non-hd version you are looking for "Mixcraft_v19_Pack.zip\Mixcraft v19 Pack\Texture Selector Packs (easier)\Mixcraft Basic" the zip located in that folder.
A fine pack! My favorite of all is the Wheat, I can't help it, it's just beautiful, blowing in a gentle breeze. I'd plant a huge wheat garden just for the look of it! And the wood boards are nice, usually I don't care for building with wood (perhaps because I enjoy playing with flint and steel too much, ouch, painful memories). But this wood might get me to change. The interface is nice too, warm and inviting, just like Minecraft! I also like the artwork, some of those painting are very nice and a fine compliment to any home, large or small. An excellent compilation of talent here. Nicely done!
Keep up the good work and I'll be downloading this right now,
Heftig
PS: Is that an Aquarium you have there in that screen with all the plants? I love Aquariums! I'll have to build one!
open minecraft.jar
copied all from the mixcraft HD folder in to the .jar

click on patch
a message comes, sucess probably...
and then i ge a black screen in minecraft..
waht do i wrong?
Are you sure you're using the most recent version? Mixcraft Version 19?
The patch from version 18 created a black screen, but the one in version 19 doesnt...
Did you install any other mods that might be causing that? Or just the texture pack?
Not sure if it's something to do with the black screen issue reported in the last post, but Notch released a new update a short while ago. I'm downloading it now and hoping that the patch still works after it's done...
As a matter of fact, the most recent update did not break the patch. I've just got around to patching my game again, custom water and lava and everything, and it works just fine. No black screen or any problems whatsoever. Not even watch or compass was broken in the update. If it gives you a black screen, use my workaround (hasn't failed yet!):
1. Open the patcher.
2. Click "Browse" next to the "Texture Pack" option, and find the Mixcraft HD.zip which should be in the "Texture Selector Packs" folder somewhere.
3. Make sure everything is ticked, and that the patcher has set the drop-down box to 32x32.
4. Click Patch. There should be no errors.
I find that for some reason, allowing the patcher to install to texture pack rather than do it manually has a higher success rate. Doing it manually has only worked about 50% of the time for me (dunno why). As soon as I worked out how to get the patcher to do it for me, it hasn't given me any trouble yet!
My computer doesn't even have winRAR... FML
Any other way to install it? -.-

No. It's a sandbox game. As long as you don't interfere with other people's enjoyment of the game, there is no reason to think that doing that would be cheating.
I was getting the black screen after logging in as well. Do what the other posts said, UNCHECK WATER AND LAVA before pressing "PATCH" and it will work fine after that.
BTW, This is AWESOME! Everything looks 10000x better than the original items/textures
That's odd. I seem to be the only one whos managed to get custom water & lava working correctly with the latest update... (Notch has released yet another update, so I'll try my method again, see if it works).
I don't think it's entirely a problem with the patcher. My view is that its more of a problem that the water and lava textures cannot be properly integrated manually. When I point the patcher to the Mixcraft HD zipfile and patch Minecraft, rather than installing all the textures manually, it seems that it does a few extra things. I'll do a comparison after I finish downloading the next update and see what it does differently, and what difference it should make, since it seems to work better if the HD Patcher is used BEFORE installing the textures. and the patcher itself is directed to the MixCraft.zip and Mixcraft is installed simultaneously to the patch.
I made a slightly modded version of this pack, it is designed for creative and survival test. It has all of the mobs, properly resized gui, correctly ordered blocks in the terrain.png, and the signs, arrows, armor, character and such.

YOU MUST UN-CHECK CUSTOM WATER AND CUSTOM LAVA!!
Please be patient, the patch will be updated as soon as possible

Go down to "English WinRAR and RAR release"
You're going to have to deal with it for a while, sorry about that
EDIT: I kinda like the new look clouds, Koolwitak :biggrin.gif: They actually look like real clouds! ZOMG!
Also, I appreciate the effort with the new lava texture - it seems to flow much better than the last one :biggrin.gif:
