I did something very stupid. I downloaded the texture pack, I did NOT install it, and I used the patcher that came with the pack. Now everytime I click the sign in button on minecraft, everything goes black. There's no menu. How do I reverse this?
Please help, I haven't been able to play because of this texture pack. I use a mac by the way.

Delete the "bin" folder inside the main minecraft folder, then restart minecraft

I don't think I have a minecraft folder. If I do have one, I don't know where it's located. Do you know where it would be on a mac?
I'm having a problem with this pack, whenever I use the "old" way of installing it (opening minecraft.jar and replacing old graphics with new ones), the game reverts back to the old version (1.2.0_02).
Also, you say that when using the new method of installing the pack (via the ingame texture button) the graphics will look worse, but why is this?
1) I don't know why it says that, but I dont think it will affect the game at all
2) The graphics don't look as good because I have no control over the biome colors
Also, there is the glitch with the water, lava, and fire not having animations
I am having an issue with the brick blocks in this Pack. They are divided into 4 parts. 2 look like bricks, 1 looks like flames and 1 is a swirling purple portal. Can anyone help me with this?

Either you're using the Regular Texture Packs and you didnt install the HD Texture Patch,
or you're using the Texture Selector Packs and you didnt read the "problems.txt" file

Wait, you meant I had to use that patcher by installing the Hd pack into Minecraft.jar, not texturepack?

That's what happens when you try to use HD packs with the selector, they get glitchy and they look bad
In my opinion, Mixcraft HD should ONLY be installed the old fashioned way
In fact, I might remove it from the Texture Selector Packs list
Maybe some day, I'm not sure at the moment, I kind of like the pixelated feel of Minecraft

You do have one, /Users/~Library/Application Support/minecraft/bin, where ~ is your username.
Thanks so much, it works now :biggrin.gif:

Did what?
I think he just means he installed it and got a black screen
If that is true, Eternalist, then just delete your "bin" folder and restart minecraft
I can walk you through the whole process over Skype or AIM if you want, just PM me
Thanks!
