Just curious, I installed the texture pack manually for 1.2.2, applied the patch, and I noticed when I launch the game now it says I'm using Alpha 1.2.1_01 and not 1.2.2. Is this supposed to happen?
I don't think so... I just installed mine manually and it says 1.2.2 at the top left of the screen
Try deleting the "bin" folder, restarting minecraft, and re-installing the textures
That fixed it, but the obsidian armor and weapons aren't loading correctly, they're loading the original textures from the obsidian mod instead of the mixcraft versions.

Probably because you copied the textures that come with the mod...
plz help i still idk how 2 delete the bin folder i know just want 2 get rid of this as fast as possible and return my minecraft back to normal

Try adding my armor and gui files again
I believe I'm seeing the problem. His instructions on installation require to use an auto-patcher. The auto-patcher keeps adding the old texture files in a folder marked "obsidian" under gui and if the folder is removed the game crashes after loading.
Yay i fixed my minecraft and got 2 keep the texture pack!

Hey man I love this texture pack but I have one question, How do I install it with the new texture folder, Notch said just drag the .zip into the folder and I try but your texture pack doesn't work that way. It only works if i remove the original minecraft texture, any idea? I did it on version 16 but not on 17.

Sorry if it has been asked before but, what exactly are the differences between using the ingame texture pack changer and doing the manual install?
In the readme it states that the texture pack method is "glitchy and looks less good" and stuff, what exactly do you mean?
In terms of the texture resolution or the hd-patch not being applied, or other stuff like transparency and junk?
I installed the old fashined way and loving every single texture, just wanted to know :smile.gif:
Oh and another thing, do you gotta reinstall the textures and hd fix everytime a new update is released, or will the update only change the files changed in the new patch (such as, non-texture files)? Thanks
Hey, just a quick question. Apologies if this had been pointed out (questioned) before, but I figured a new version of both Minecraft and Mixcraft HD it wouldn't hurt to possibly bring it up again.
What am I holding?
You can see it in the hot-bar too.
I spent a little time comparing the items.png from the original jar with the updated Mixcraft items.png, but couldn't even see where this texture was coming from. (Wrong png maybe?)
Ahh, thanks.
Couldn't figure out what it was, it wouldn't right-click and it didn't really do anything with left-click.
Guess the white blobs (lightning bolts?) are the hands then? :smile.gif:
type in "%appdata%\.minecraft" in run on start menu (without quotes).....then right click the bin file and hit delete.

Follow these instructions to find the bin folder ---> viewtopic.php?f=25&t=40207
Then just drag it to the trash

What's in the chest?

if i remember right all my misc items....red stone, mine cart, tracks, buckets, stuff like that i think
I have no idea what would be causing that... maybe the watch?
Try deleting your bin folder to reset the textures to default and then go open the chest
So you cant even open the chest with the default textures?
Then it has nothing to do with my pack, something is wrong with your game
Look for koolwitaks posts they say how
