The only "mod" I wish this would support is the connected textures option in Optifine, because it just looks awesome in the default texture pack. Would be nice to have my glass blocks actually look like one huge window instead of many individual blocks, ... but that's just a minor quirk I've had. *shrugs*
I've been experimenting with texture packs all morning, and this is definitely one of my favorites. ^^ Are some of the creatures not included in the pack yet? When I tried placing a Silverfish, the sound for it worked, but the creature had no image. And when I checked the zip file, the Silverfish image was missing.

I can assure you the silverfish image IS included in the texture pack. Make sure you followed the installation instructions correctly.
Hmm, well I tried again step by step. The image file is in there, but it's still doing the same thing when I try to place it. It makes the creature sound, but the actual Silverfish never shows up. "Zombie Pig Man" does the same thing... What could possibly be causing this?
EDIT: Okay, I tried installing the pack on my other laptop and everything is working as it should... o_O I don't understand what could be wrong on the first laptop.

Do you have any mods installed on your first laptop?
Try deleting the minecraft folder and re-installing everything. A clean install should fix the problem.
I just got the xbox version, and I have to say there's just something about it that makes it almost like an entirely new experience. Maybe it's the new controls, or the new tutorial level, or the fact that I can play it on an HD tv, or the fact that it doesn't lag even a tiny bit... but I highly recommend it.
Right now I'm just waiting for Jeb to release something that I can actually work with. There have been a couple updates and a few snapshots, but so far the only new texture was the cocoa beans in the latest snapshot. I'll add those into my pack and upload a new version when the update comes out.
What's the deal with the "Connected textures" option on the new MCPatcher? I know it says that it connects adjacent blocks of the same type, but what exactly does that mean with respect to the textures?
Many blocks already link in to each other, as far as textures go... Confusion.

Yet another 1.3 snapshot is out- sandstone steps, ender chests, and emeralds!
Here's to hoping you can make them sufficiently awesome!
Just a suggestion for emeralds- can you make them very similar to the diamonds, but slightly differently shaped, and, of course, green?
I always loved the diamond texture- one of the best in this pack, I say.
If anyone wants to suggest using one of the alternate textures for the emerald, feel free to say so. I'd like to know which ones people like the most. You can see them all in the "Items.png" file in the Mixcraft HD zip file.
For emeralds, I like the first one, the faceted and pointy one. I believe that's the texture already in the pack.
For rubies, I say go with the teardrop-shaped one. The mottled effect is really cool with red.
I think it's best if the two have different shapes as well as colors, and those two seem best for their gem type.
Still, though. Keep it up, Koolwitak!
I don't understand why people keep thinking this pack died... I never stopped updating it.
I always update as soon as I can with each new release.

Please stay tuned for more news!
This update is primarily just to add support for the next update, but I also updated a few things.
- Updated HD texture patcher
- Added "Book & Quill"
- Added "Cocoa Plant"
- Updated cocoa beans
- Updated smooth sandstone
- Updated chiseled sandstone
- Updated ocelots/cats
- Updated iron golem
Or so you think! Look closely... Their skins are the same theme, but actually they're a higher definition.
They both have 4x as many pixels in them and look much smoother! I'll post pictures below later.

I honestly have no idea. I haven't tried it yet.

This update is to add support for Snapshot 12w21a.
- Updated HD texture patcher
- Added "Ender Chest"
- Added HD "Emerald"
- Added HD "Emerald Ore"
- Added HD "Ruby" (unconfirmed texture)
There are multiple alternate textures for both the emerald and ruby, located in the "items.png" file.
For rubies, I say go with the teardrop-shaped one. The mottled effect is really cool with red.

This update is to add support for Snapshot 12w22a.
- Updated HD texture patcher
- Added HD "Emerald Block"
- Added HD "Tripwire Hook"
- Added HD "Tripwire"
- Updated "allitems.png"
- Updated "gui.png"
I'll try if I can figure out what I need to do to add support for it.
It makes me sad to see the PC version of minecraft kind of dying out over time...
