Alright, I'm going to be honest with you since you've been so patient and persistant... I know what you mean about the leaf colors being a bit off in some cases. The only problem is that about 90% of that comes from the foliage color file, which is one of the few things in this pack that I didn't actually make. The colors sometimes change when trees are placed in different areas, and you might even notice a few trees with more than one color of leaves on the same tree. I wanted the tree colors to be diverse, but one of the downsides to this is that occasionally the leaves will have kind of an awkward color for that particular tree. Since I didn't make the image file and don't have the advanced skills required to properly alter each individual pixel to fix any awkward leaf colors, I can't really do much about it.
Well, thanks anyway. Just wanted to make sure you were aware.
Is it possible to use some of your textures as base for my own texture pack? I would really also like to upload it.
Of course i will give you full credits
Thank you!
As long as it's only a base and as long as you don't use too many of them. You should try to make at least 50% of the textures your own so your pack is unique.
I think this texture pack looks good. I'm a little reluctant to use it because the last one I used infected my entire hardrive. I doubt this one will, but I have decided it's best to side on the side of caution. However, this pack is a ingeniouse combination of what minecraft originally looked like, and the real world. This is by far the best display I have ever seen.
The video you have at the beggining is also very good, but I was kind of interested on how you didn't include any enemies into it. Any reason why?

I actually didn't make that video, one of my fans did. It's a little old though. It was made during Version 24 of Mixcraft. Maybe if I can get in touch with the creator of that video we can start working on a newer one. If I end up doing that I will make sure to ask him to add a few shots of the enemies and maybe some combat.

Lol, I've actually already asked them to do that. Got no response, though.
Maybe you'd be more successful, since it's your texturepack.
Yeah, if you didn't make a texture, even if it's only one texture, you can't put the pack behind adf.ly. And you have about 10-12 textures in here that you didn't create yourself. So... yeah.
But otherwise, I love the pack!
Edit: Also, I've noticed that some items in the items.png, including the brewing stand, eye of ender, and glistering melon, are exactly the same as Vattic's Faithful pack. The breaking animation is the same, too.
Take a mansion that looks amazing. Now WorldEdit it into diamond blocks. It looks horrible now, yet some people still say it's amazing. I don't get it.
Wow, I had no idea about that. On a side note, I decided to use the pack and I must admit that I feel like a complete idiot for not just going with my gut instinct earlier. It's really enhanced my gameplay and the fun of it. Excellent job, and continue the steller work!
I have been having this problem where the glass block and sandstone block texture have been reverting back to the default texture when i use the optifne mod with this texture pack. I love this texure pack but this problem irritates me. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

I've been using this pack for quite a long time, since at least beta 1.5 (rough guess). I registered on this forum simply to give you appreciation for this pack, I recently went searching for something new, to try out, change it up a little.. but, I was unable to find any pack that even came close to comparing with this. The two I actually bothered to install (LB's Photo Realism, 256*256/Misa's Realistic Texture Pack) made me sick, and without further tinkering I reverted to this pack.
Keep up the amazing work, looking forward to seeing how it developes in the future.
Just out of curiosity...how come the HD font broke with the 1.2.4 update? Not a big deal, I'm just waiting for this texture pack to update. Keep up the great work.
The HD patcher hasn't updated the HD fonts to support 1.2.4 yet.
Also is there any idea when koolwitak will be updating to pack to support 1.2.4 with the new decorative blocks.
well the fact that this is a remix of sorts it depends on the other texture pack makers. Also you CAN'T have adf.ly's on this if there not your textures unless you can show that every person you took textures from allowed you to generate revenue.

No, it doesn't depend on any other texture pack makers. I can make my own blocks. I don't just wait for other packs to update and then steal their stuff and put it in here. I've put a lot of work into a lot of these textures.
On that note, I will start working on the update now. It should be done by tonight.

We all live in a time of shaders, textures again -old age!

You need to disable texture smoothing.
