I recently noticed something odd in the texture pack...
In Default mode, oak leaves are generally a bit greener and more vibrant than birch leaves.
However, when I turn on Mixcraft, the colors are reversed, and birch leaves are greener, oak duller.
For some reason, their icons in the inventory still show the correct color for the leaves, but not when placed.
Koolwitak, I don't know if you did this on purpose or if it was a mistake, but could you please fix it in the next update?
I realize this isn't a huge issue, but I'd like there to be consistency between the textures as soon as possible,
because I'm making a huge leaf-sculpture garden on my server, and trying to make use of the different colors.
It would be awkward if what looks good to me on Mixcraft seems, well, awkward on default.
you know you can't post adf.ly's. You used Aageon's lava animations (in your credits it says so) "Noncommercial — You may not use this work for commercial purposes. No Derivative Works — You may not alter, transform, or build upon this work"
even if you got permission you can't use adf.lys
It would be here if SOME people tried to do constuctive criticism instead of wasting saliva whining and blabbing. I'm not gonna bother with you anymore, hope you understood what i said. If not, well good luck in life.
Off with that. Mixcraft is a pack i've been using since i bought minecraft, and i love how it's still alive and kicking!
well if you read my other posts which you obviously didnt then you would have seen my constuctive critisism, and im not sure how you type in forums but I sure dont use saliva...
As far as I know the only new things that'd need updating are the new creative mode icons for AI spawns such as villager, chicken, etc. Next minecraft update should include the new cat mob and other Jungle biome related textures so maybe by then there will be an update.
That said, he still puts more effort into his texture pack than what I've seen from most, with most people getting bored of updating their pack after only a few months. And I'm glad, as I'm pretty dependent on his pack. I was even recently tempted by SummerFields, but just couldn't keep using it.
ETA: When I press on 'test minecraft' in mcpatcher it loads minecraft good in offline version, with the correct HD textures, but when I try it online from minecraft.net I get white screen when loading.
You can try re-downloading the minecraft launcher. Running Java 7 and all that? (7u4 Build b13 is latest atm)
I'm honestly stumped. I'd ask over in the MCPatcher thread if you haven't already as it'd be the patcher causing it before it'd be the texture pack doing any harm.
To all who were requesting an update, I don't usually update until new textures are released. If you needed the latest patch for the 1.1 update, you could simply download it from the link on the first page.
On that note, the 1.2 update has just been released, so I am now working on the new textures.
I should be able to release an update before this weekend, so keep an eye out for it!

- Updated patch for 1.2 - Added HD jungle tree sapling - Added HD glowstone lantern - Added HD enchanting bottle - Added HD spawn egg - Added HD fire charge - Added jungle tree leaves - Added jungle tree trunk - Added iron golem - Added ocelot - Added cats
I will work on HD versions of the other textures, but this should be enough for now.
EDIT: By the way, mediafire isn't working with adfly for some reason, so there's only the rapidshare download link. I'm not sure how to fix this problem but I will look into it. If you are having trouble downloading the pack, direct download links are at the bottom of the first post.
Is anyone else seeing problems with Netherrack? For me the block looks like water or something, and when I light it on fire it is static rather than animated.
Thanks!
Thank you so much for finally updating- I was worrying I might have to look elsewhere!
But, the leaves are still wack... can you please make that fix to the leaf textures I posted about earlier?
Koolwitak this pack seems awsome to me and dont be afraid your people go to misa (seen your comment there How dare you!) so just saying yur pack rocks
I don't really mind which pack people decide to use, as long as they pick the one they think looks the best. Misa is a great artist, so it makes sense that some people may choose hers over mine. Just as long as I still have fans I will always keep updating mine.
It's hard to believe it's already been 18 months since I started Mixcraft! XD
Koolwitak would it be possible for me to port your texturepack to be used for the pocket edition. I would only be using mediafire and dropbox links and no adf.ly links.
Is there any way you can give me credit for something like that? I don't mind if you port the texture pack for other people to use on the pocket edition, but I would still like people to know where it originally came from.
I will always love this pack. I just really really like how you hand-drew every item and probably everything else along with it. Most packs will just take an image off the interwebs and you can still see the white outline around it which really bugs me. I used to always use this pack but I am more of a fan of 128x128 packs now, and the occasional 64x64. I could probably start to use this more often.
I'm going to repost this, since it still hasn't received any acknowledgement from Koolwitak. Sorry to be a spammer.

It should be fairly simple to fix if it is indeed just a switched file.

Alright, I'm going to be honest with you since you've been so patient and persistant... I know what you mean about the leaf colors being a bit off in some cases. The only problem is that about 90% of that comes from the foliage color file, which is one of the few things in this pack that I didn't actually make. The colors sometimes change when trees are placed in different areas, and you might even notice a few trees with more than one color of leaves on the same tree. I wanted the tree colors to be diverse, but one of the downsides to this is that occasionally the leaves will have kind of an awkward color for that particular tree. Since I didn't make the image file and don't have the advanced skills required to properly alter each individual pixel to fix any awkward leaf colors, I can't really do much about it.
I always include the packs owner within the title for each texturepack and i also include a link to the original texturepack thread. Here is a link to the topic with the port i have already created for your texturepack: Pocket Edition Texturepack Central
We'll see.

Iron Golems added in 12w08a, looks like they'll be needing a texture as well.

Hey though, thanks for the update, your (quick, wow) work is greatly appreciated, my personal favorite ^^
