And if you really don't want to, the only other options (that probably won't fix it) are to update lwjgl libraries, update java runtime environment, and update your video card drivers.
Please help, mine just shows the default texture
This texture plack looks really awesome, cant wait till it works!
Are you sure you followed the instructions correctly? Did you move the "Mixcraft HD.zip (or Mixcraft Basic.zip)" file to your "texturepacks" folder? It's not the main file you've downloaded, but the zip file inside it.
Any chance of textures being added for Alex's Mods, specifically the multitools and coloured glass? Or is that something that needs to be done on his end?
Looks like a block that you've forgotten to run MCpatcher on! :laugh.gif: Far too plain imho, looks more like a snow block.
Well, I know. I'm not much of an artist. (I can't build anything good in Minecraft either.) I was using it as a suggestion. I'm sure TC can make something much better and textured. It's somthing that looks cleaner than the usual glowstone textures.
It's just you. I've seen them myself. Critical strikes can be very difficult to get sometimes.
your right, just tested and the arrow sparkles were gone, i switched back to normal tp and saw them, when i switched back to your tp the sparkles were there, odd :smile.gif:
This is awesome!
Why do you need photoshop, when you can create so good textures in gimp or paint.net or whatever your using?
Because Photoshop is better. (Speaking as a Photoshop user). Although, GIMP can do some things Photoshop cannot easily do, so I actually use a bit of both these days...
So I know you plan on redesigning the glowstone, but I don't know if you plan to keep it looking natural (so it'll still look okay in the nether) or if you plan on making it more artificial, so it looks like it was actually made into something and looks better in homes.
If you do want to go with the artificial approach, maybe take inspiration from something like this.
This is glowstone from the JohnSmith texture pack (forgot to do the hd texture patch) and it is the single best (imo) looking glowstone texture I've come across. It doesn't look quite right in it's nether clusters, but that wasn't much of an issue since nether trips are few and far between, or at least they were, but now they want to add more of a purpose to the nether.
Anyway, I still love this texture pack, but I can never use the glowstone with it until I switch it out.

That isn't going to happen. It either looks like it could be natural stone or I won't change it.
Don't worry though, I've already been working on a pretty good texture and it should be done soon.
So, if I understand you correctly, you're attempting to make a glowstone texture that looks good for lamps and "artificial" lighting, but also looks reasonably "natural" when you find it in the Nether and such...
:biggrin.gif:
How about a hexagonal/honeycomb texture?
One option:
Turn on Smooth Lighting.

but is it me or are the crit strike sparkles missing?

A rather tall order, so good luck :biggrin.gif:
