Hello, great texture pack, but I suggest adding vincent van gogh and leonardo da vinci or they will decend from heavens and kick your anus for not giving credit for the "a starry night" and "mona lisa" paintings. :ohmy.gif:
Honestly, man? It's a painting. A very low-grade imitation of one. It's got no measurable value, so there's no need. We all know who made them originally. Nobody's gonna get confused over it, so GTFO.
I second this awesome idea. If you need a base to work from, the DokuCraft Continuation project has all the Aether items and blocks as well as GUI done already.
I don't know if anyone has mentioned it before, but I find the glowstone texture tiling doesn't quite work.
Also, any chance of increased compatibility with the OptiFine mod? I don't know if that is actually under your control, but the fire animation doesn't work (well, the animation does work, but doesn't seem to use the Mixcraft texture). The high res text seems a bit off too.

That can be the fault of nothing other than the mod itself. The MCPatcher renders all Mixcraft's textures flawlessly... However, if you love this texture pack enough, I have an alternative... Use MCPatcher for the HD textures, and get Robinton's Cubic Chunks mod. That mod contains enough lag-fixes and optimizations both related to chunks and related to other things to speed up your game almost as much as OptiFine, but you'll lose the customizability of OptiFine (the two are not compatible with each other, anyway).
The texture pack looks amazing mate! Downloading this for sure, but the sugar cane in the screenshots looks like the default.
Look closer. This pack was modeled after the default, with some extra realism and detail thrown in. Koolwitak stays with the basic style of the default textures, but adds his own little flair in as well to make it look epic :wink.gif:
Looks like he's been made aware of it. And he's stolen many others' textures. Wonder what he'll do about all those angry people.
EDIT: Hey, Koolwitak... haven't heard from ya in while. Something going on?
This pack... it needs some water & lava animations (both flowing and still). Your still water animation is somewhat similar to DokuCraft's... perhaps you could model the others off of DokuCraft's?
Can you take out the adf.ly? Because I have to do surveys everytime I try to download, and to actually get to the download I have to download and take about 20 minutes to do this survey crap.
I'm sure people are either illiterate or just plain stupid. It's been said umpteen times that all you need to do with adfly links is wait for the 5 second counter to finish and then click the "skip ad" button that appears in its place. There are no surveys to complete.
Careful calling people stupid. Although rare (thanks to adfly's quick responses to reports), survey ads are known to appear (I've seen a couple myself). The are against adfly's terms of use, so you can report them. The often contain some JavaScript to disable the "Skip Ad" button or even remove it completely, or just put up an overlay so you can't click on anything until you do their stupid survey. Thankfully, they are rare, and most people are considerate enough to put up non-adfly links for people who get survey ads. I'm unsure if using a certain browser will give a high chance of survey ads or not, although I tend to notice that people using Firefox do not usually see the surveys.
Hey, just wanted to say that I love the texture pack. It is the only one I use. :smile.gif: Recently I got the glitch with the brick/fire thing and the clocks not working. I checked multiple times and I know that I installed the texture correctly. I think the problem lies in the mods I am currently running. At the moment I am using the Better Than Wolves mod, Mod Loader (which i don't think has the problem), and minecraftforge. I was using the BTW mod and the texture pack at the same time and it worked fine. The only thing I can think of is that I recently updated it. So if you know of a resolution to this problem PLEASE HELP! (it might be mod support with the minecraftforge...im not sure) Hope you can help me because i love this pack. Thanks

With texture packs, theres not a single mod incompatible with them, you just need to use the mcpatcher included in the Mixcraft HD download. Next time be sure to read every bit of information if installing something new. :wink.gif:
Edit: Make sure you patch your minecraft.jar first and then install your mods.

Where is Koolwitak, anyway? I haven't heard from him in a while. Time to start digging through several pages of posts.
EDIT: Nope, nothing. I wonder what happened to him?
