I have downloaded this pack and use the low resolution because my comps slow and i cant get mc patcher because i have mods installed already. I really like this pack and Its really cool but I'd like to see somthing with the clock compass and wolves. I am not sure if you have already done this for the HD one and if you have could you please integrate it
Thanks great pack I think the and look great
You have to use the HD patcher. Otherwise, the clocks and compasses won't work. If that wasn't your problem, you will need to restate it in a way which is easier to understand.
I just installed this and it works fine when I play through the minecraft launcher however if I try and play in browser I black screen I've read the FAQ and installed everything correctly any help would be great.
For some reason, the bricks and other blocks have portals and fire on them. is this a glitch or did i install wrong? srry if this question was asked by someone else or this was answered in like a Q and A thing im usually not on these forums.

WiredEyeTV just finished the new Mixcraft HD Installation Video and I posted it under the download link on the first page of this topic. I actually did this yesterday, but I never informed you all, so that's what I'm doing now. If you are having problems installing the pack, please watch the video before posting in here. Thanks.
I also want to find some way to celebrate when Mixcraft finally gets over 1,000,000 views, like the way Notch celebrated 1,000,000 purchases of Minecraft by giving us cakes. If you can think of any constructive ideas other than just "make some new textures" then please post your ideas below!
Hmm, the new forum is confusing me, last I saw this thread went to 167 pages. Oh well.
Have you considered adding GLSL support for bump mapping or something with terrain_s.png and terrain_nh.png?
Unrelated side note; mortar-less brick, tnt, Asian glowstone, block break overlay, and spider web from John Smith pack look great with Mixcraft HD. Also been playing around with higher res stuff from other packs.. trying Misa's 64x cart, grasscolor, foliagecolor, sign, particles, and boat with LB Realism 256x custom water, clouds, snow and rain in your pack - it looks pretty sexy, I must say. Loving this multi-resolution thing.
Anyways, keep up the great work Koolwitak - always been a fan of your pack.
Well here we are, the new minecraft forum. This is going to be my official post for any information I discover on the new layout that seems worth noting, and is basically just an overall review. This post will be updated when needed.
1) Ratings
The first thing I said when I saw that they added a rating system was "Oh ****..." but then I noticed they are only positive ratings at the moment, so thats a little better. It's not that I think ratings are a bad idea, I just don't really like the competition. People are going to start judging texture packs by how many PLUS ONES the first post in the topic has, which they really shouldn't do... Either way, I would appreciate it if any of you who like Mixcraft could +1 my original post! I know I'm just contradicting myself, but still, ratings are ratings. :smile.gif:
2) Forum Design
I'm sure most of you agree with me, but I LOVE that they post news on the front page of Notch's recent activity and upcoming Minecraft updates and such. That's going to make it much easier for me to know what's going on and when I need to update Mixcraft. Many of you may not have noticed yet, but they added more space to the length of the actual page itself, meaning I can also increase the size of the picutres I posted. I'm also glad they added the word "pinned" in front of pinned topics, because maybe now you will all stop calling them "stickys" and call them by their proper name! I'm mostly just joking about that, but I've just always known them as "pinned topics" from being on other forums.
3) Forum Functionality
Some of the changes to the way the forum works are a little annoying. As soon as I opened this topic, I noticed some of the codes got messed up, so now my [youtube] codes and [simg] codes don't seem to be working. A few of the posts seem to be missing too, since this used to be the 163rd page. On that note, have anyone else noticed the 3rd post down on this page? It was posted on April 27th, so why the hell is it on THIS page?!? I also really don't like the new font for posting new posts. It looks like the font in Notepad, and therefore it looks pretty bad. I'm sure there are many other good changes to the inner workings, (maybe they fixed my poll), but I just haven't seen them yet.
Testing the poll to see if it finally works again... Fingers crossed!
Eh, I'm fine with the redesign, I haven't spent much time on the forums. Broken links are annoying though, but aye.
(Also, other forum I go to officially calls them "stickies". βP)
In any case, amazing pack, I love it and have been using it since it was first recommended to me on a server. Never had any problems with it I couldn't fix or customize, and recommended to others, who like it as well. (+1'd first post as well~)
I honestly don't understand... is this a mixture of textures, or an original work? Because I don't see mentions of it being a remix pack, and you're taking donations and everything, but the name and such makes me think it's a remix pack

Any clarification?
It's not a remix pack. We were thinking about changing the name, but the pack is already so popular that it might just cause confusion. I assure you that the majority of the work here is my own.

SOrry if this has already been mentioned but you should change the positioning of things like the shovel. I dont think im going to shoot someone with a spade. . . Just saying.

Shoot someone? Why would you be shooting someone with your shovel?
Either way, they are rotated that way so that it actually looks like you are digging. Normally, the shovel is positioned the same way as all the other tools, so when you try to dig it looks like youre just whacking the dirt.
I'm invading my signature!!!!
you need to use the HD texture fix.

hmm .. water and lave don't seem to be animating.
Any thought on how I can fix that?
This is the best 32x32 pack out there IMHO :-)
you need to use the HD texture fix =/
thanks man

Ah... but what do you mean "the majority"?
A couple things were not made by me, such as the animals. Check the bottom of my original post for specifics.
