Ahh hah, don't move the redstone texture, just make blocks (12,5) and (12,6) transparent.
Yes... or you could also do a sort of "lit overlay" there, as shown in my thread. But making them transparent at least allows it to be visible - though if you do so, I'd recommend taking the wiring from 6,5 and 6,6 of his version 29 terrain.png and moving them to 11,5 and 11,6. That is the best way to simulate the way wiring worked before the 1.3 "fix".

Would it be possible to darken the tips of the ripe grain a bit? Not as bad as in the default texture, but it would be helpful to have a visual indicator of when the grain is actually ripe rather than have to stop and judge the color, at least for me. I have a terrible time telling exactly when the grain is ripe.
Was removing the dark tips a deliberate decision?
I love your pack otherwise, just want a bit more contrast on the grain if possible.
Thanks for all the work you have put in getting the rest of this together.
ALL OF YOU:
For the version that works with 1.5, go DOWNLOAD THE v30 LISTED ON THE FRONT PAGE!!!!!
Then, save the terrain file below over the terrain.png in the Mixcraft HD.zip. Patch Minecraft and it will work.
DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS BEFORE REPLACING THE TERRAIN FILE!
So, in step-by-step instructions:
1. Go to the OP and find the smaller download link for Koolwitak's v30 Prototype - it has a warning that it will ONLY work for 1.5. Extract this file to get the normal folders for Mixcraft Basic and Mixcraft HD, as well as the zipfiles within.
2. Download the terrain image above
3. Make sure it is named "terrain.png"
4. Place it inside the Mixcraft HD.zip file
5. Patch the game with either the old version of Xau's patch, or the Beta one, which is linked to on the main patcher thread. If you use the old one, be certain to select the Mixcraft HD.zip file as the texture pack. If you use the new (MCPatcher Beta 4), I suggest you place the Mixcraft HD.zip in the texturepacks folder.
That is all. You may stop complaining now.
Thankyou. :biggrin.gif:
I made a different booster texture based off your rail texture, looks more like the default and less like a retro toaster (sorry, only texture I dislike).
I've only made one texture before this (a fire sword), not quite as clean-cut as your stuff, but I hope you can use it.
Another Question: When i use MCpatcher on mac, it just freezes and becomes unresponsive at 3%. The last line in the log is Minecraft Version: 1.5
Is it supposed to do this?
EDIT: I wanted to try this texture pack out, so i used the basic. I didnt unpatch, after i quit the unresponsive MCpatcher application, and my grass was weird. I could see through the top of it...

Koolwitak won't be back for a while, but he did make his own textures, and most people here are happy with them. His ideas weren't meant to match the originals, they were meant to be half-realistic, which is hard to do with a rail detector or booster. I'm sure he'll consider your idea though, as long as he sees it.

Hey, when patching 1.5, do we patch minecraft-1.5.jar or just minecraft.jar?
Thanks
Just minecraft.jar. Minecraft-1.5.jar is the backup made by the patcher.

No, it's not. Post the entire log here please. It may have something to do with what mods you have installed.
ALSO, if you are using 1.5, follow the instructions in my post above to get the 1.5-compatible pack and terrain. If you don't get the new terrain file I posted above, your grass edges will be invisible and the redstone wires will have an odd blue overlay color.
Here, it works just fine, excluding the dirts.
how do i get it to work properly?
uuh, its just, the grass part of the dirt block just gets invisible :/
anyone help?

I didn't mean is suggest I dislike his textures, I think his pack is incredible and hands down the best out there, I won't play without it and personally find something missing when I try a different pack. Regarding Koolwitak's booster texture, it's far better than I could have done on my own, but I wanted gold to show in the texture as it does in default (Koolwitak wasn't aware of the recipe since he made it early). I simply rehashed his rails texture to look like the default booster design but as 32x64.

iz 32x32; the res refers to each tile btw. Anyway, he'll probably fix it when he gets back in a day or two.

I did it now, and it got to 25% then froze. I would give you the log if i could. The log window also becomes unresponsive, so i cant get to it.
Try increasing your Java stack size. Run it with a command like "java -jar mcpatcher.jar -Xms1024m" where mcpatcher.jar is the filename and path to the jarfile.
This is the Mixcraft 32x32 version COMPITABLE WITH 1.5
Again.. this version works with MC version 1.5 ..
Just a quick question... did you make the two tiles below the Redstone wires transparent? If not, they'll look bluish - someone discovered that the tiles immediately below the redstone textures are an overlay for them or some such...
Ah, good. No problems there, then. Also, when Koolwitak gets back, I should probably tell him of my lofty experiments with clouds.png... I managed to get some photorealistic-style (not entirely realistic; purely Photoshopped) clouds working in a reasonably high-definition view. Just one problem... the file has to be 2048x2048 resolution or else it doesn't get the HD effect; thus a fair bit of slowdown occurs when viewing clouds. Ah well, they CAN be made HD after all :biggrin.gif:

Same problem here. Hopefully we get a new version of MixCraft soon to fix it!
