I thought you had another texturepack from which you like the coulds more as the ones from mixcraft (Default clouds)
Do you mean how to put the clouds from the alternates folder in the pack?
yea, how do u put in the original clouds back in, unless u know of better looking clouds...
[quote=CrazyErik]To put back the original clouds you just have to change your actions from step 5. :
5. Open your minecraft.jar in the "bin" folder with a program like 7zip or WinRar
6. Go to the "environment" folder
7. Move the "clouds.png" insdide it to a temporary folder (For example desktop)
8. Open the "texturepacks" folder in the ".minecraft" folder
9. Put the cloud.png from the temporary folder into the same directory as in step 6. (environment) in the Mixcraft.zip
10. Patch Mixcraft again
11. Enjoy!were
I just wanted everyone to know that I'm going to be gone until monday morning, which means I wont be able to update mixcraft until then. Also, Im leaving again on tuesday afternoon and coming back on thursday.
As long as Notch releases 1.5 on monday or tuesday, we should be fine.
I want the slimes from this video:
Epic face slime :biggrin.gif:
Perhaps as an alternate texture? I don't want to force people to have this, but it's pretty cool.
From memory, the slimes don't have a .png file... I haven't seen one before (they were removed before the game entered Beta)... so I don't think it would make much difference. However, if you had a mod that added slimes back in, I guess you could just draw your own epic face on the slime texture... it IS a pretty simple thing to do after all, seeing as it's not a complex idea.
My font is all messed up as stated in the FAQ, but with one problem. Whenever i go BACK to the patcher and attempt to check "Hi-res Font," it does not allow me. It is totally grayed out and clicking on it yields no results. Any help?
It seems as though Beta 1.5 might end up being released on wednesday... This is a bit of a problem for me, because I am going to be gone wednesday and will not get back until VERY late wednesday night.

EDIT2: Also, I noticed that in your "updated" terrain file, you forgot to desaturate the grass textures for biome compatibility :wink.gif:
I don't need to desaturate the grass because I already desaturated the biome. It works the same way.

Note: (You may know this already)
HD fonts do not work with Optimine. You may want to put that in the FAQ.
Thanks for pointing that out.

I'll think about it.

Slimes do have a png file, and I thought they were still in the game but I could be wrong.

No. I wouldn't pirate Minecraft, so I definately won't pirate Creative Suite.

You need to make sure you have checked the "texture pack" box and selected "Mixcraft HD.zip" as your texture pack and have set the resolution to 32x32... Do you have any mods installed? Maybe Optimine?

Hmm..i think you were probably right. With a totally fresh install, everything works fine now. Now it is just a question of which mods were affecting it .
Thanks for your time. =) Keep up the great work, love this pack.
It's normally Optimine... and I think Zombe's Modpack messes up the patcher as well, since it contains a custom class that matches a check for a rendering thingy or somethign, so it doesn't know which to patch. Apart from that, I'd be looking at any of the optimization mods (OptiFog, CAF-Mod, etc).

It seems almost certain that Notch will release Beta 1.5 tomorrow, before he begins playing Portal 2.
To be specific: He will buy Portal 2 in the morning, release Beta 1.5, then go home to play the game.
Unfortunately I will be leaving tomorrow morning for two days, and will not be able to update Mixcraft.
Because of this, I have left you all with a download link to a protoytpe of Mixcraft Version 30. This prototype is NOT compatible with Beta 1.4, however as far as I know it SHOULD be compatible with the Beta 1.5 update.
I hope that you will all post ANY problems with the prototype (after Beta 1.5 has been released) so I can fix them as soon as I get back (very late on wednesday night). This includes things that look ugly (the grass might).
If anything's not in the correct spot on the terrain file, I can fix it up... but that's all we should need to do; locations for the new rail types is all we're not entirely sure of.
I suppose the only other thing to worry about is that the HD Patcher might not function properly. Let's all cross our fingers, now!
Ah, yes.... I see what you mean. It looks like the tile location for the redstone wire has moved. The wire itself still works, but the graphic in-game indicates that it's on a tile section that was not used.
The good news is that the redstone wire is properly emitting particles once more when lit.
I took a look at the default terrain.png and the tiles appear to be in the proper place - or at least in the same place as they are on the default. And the wire looks fine in the default. So.... what's going on then?

Short answer: The redstone wire textures ALSO have another pair of tiles down one row, in 12,5 and 12,6. Please see my thread on the issue:

Jeb mentioned that the grass edge tile was replacing the weeping obsidian block in the texture file:

Not sure why you would be seeing it if you updated to latest Mixcraft
