We have recently learned that the booster tracks will be bi-directional, so we have to revise the texture.
I'm still not completely satisfied with what KrisEike and I came up with, but here are the possible concepts:
*Happy, someone mentioned my name*.
Lol, no but seriously, i would go for number 2 and number 4 as the textures.
I agree with Kris - those textures are good choices.
My only observation is for the spruce sapling - it's an evergreen, why does the sapling have leaves?
If it looked like a tiny undecorated Christmas tree, or even a juniper bonsai tree, it would be more appropriate.

"Don't know why you should feel that there's something to learn... it's just a game that you play."
Yeah those textureas look great. I still more like the one-way one but oh well....
And you should update redstone texture a bit. It just looks weird when it is in "L" shape. Rough dges and all.. i know it's not your fault, but the game's code. Still, a li'l change would be nice.
I like the one-way one too, but Jeb said the boosters are bi-directional, so now I can't use it...
You're right, I do need to work on the redstone texture. I just wish I could use the old one!
I really hope Notch realizes he made the redstone look WORSE than it looked before.

People will complain... You do realise he probably only did it to free up extra space on the terrain file, right? It's simpler to have one texture (although I do actually agree with you guys) than two in most cases. The color does need a lot of work though...
Kool, something that may be of use to you:
Notch has said he's going to fix up the grass edges... so I hope the next version will have biome compatibility as default :smile.gif:
Jeb tweeted that the grass edge texture will replace the "bleeding obsidian" also, so i assume you'll probably have to "cut out" the grass edge bit of the texture and put it instead of the bleeding obsidian, leaving the rest of it in the usual spot... we won't know for sure till 1.5 is released, but anyway...
Hopefully the lightning bolt texture can be edited... I wonder what you'll come up with, Kool... :wink.gif:
Out of curiosity... do you think the rain could be made HD? and snow as well?
... it should be :wink.gif:

Now I have to go out and find a good looking grasscolor image to use as my default...
Curse you Notch for finally adding side-grass biome support! Now I have no excuse to remove biomes!!
UMM i think the texture looks amazing except 4 1 thing...
My waters not moving.
Is it jus me or is the water not supposed to move or did i intall it wrong?

for the texture pack.
Great job though
Ah, you've forgotten to enable custom water/lava on the HD Patcher (assuming you're not using the Beta version of the patcher) or else you didn't use the patcher. Read the instructions in the OP, and/or look at the video instructions. If you REALLY want to be able to switch between different texture packs as well as this one and have it all work properly, you'll have to patch your game with the Beta version of the patcher (go to the HD texture fix thread - it's on the first page of this section of the forum - and then click the link to the Beta version of the patcher - under the heading "HOT!!". This one, you simply patch your game, and put the pack in the texturepacks folder, then open Minecraft and switch to it). If you encounter any problems with either one of these patchers, then you have a mod stopping it from working properly.
Koolwitak. If you simply need a placholder grass biome file until you make your own, just ask which people'd prefer out of Glimmar's or Misa's. They're both good, and provide screenshots of a few different biomes if you can. That way, we'll be able to decide more easily.
That'd be a hard fix, Golui. As far as I know, Notch's code simply takes half the texture for the redstone straight line and turns it 90 degrees one way or the other for corner pieces... so my guess would be to smooth out the texture around the edges of the redstone near the middle... But I could be wrong... and it might make it worse, too...
EDIT:
Before I forget, Kool - would you mind fixing up the Stone pickaxe texture (very slightly)? Because it has several black pixels at the edge of the texture, when wielded, the 3D extrapolation has ugly black edges ... would you be able to make it blend in a bit better, please? You can barely notice the few black pixels causing this in the actual item texture, and it's only really noticeable when Minecraft attempts to render it in 3D... it's only about ten or so pixels along the edge of the pickaxe's shaft causing it, so yeah... I don't know if it's with the other pickaxes, since it seems to be fine for both Wood and Iron ones, as far as I can tell... but the Stone one has ugly black blotches along one side of the shaft when you wield it...
EDIT2: Also, I noticed that in your "updated" terrain file, you forgot to desaturate the grass textures for biome compatibility :wink.gif:
Please reply, can you give me a step by step on how to put in clouds? i love this texture pack and i for 1 am a fan of the flufy clouds.
1. Find your .minecraft folder (If you run Windows 7, search "%appdata%")
2. Go to the "texturepacks" folder
3. Open "Mixcraft HD.zip"
4. Go to the "environment" folder, there should be a "clouds.png"
5. Put the coulds.png from your "flufy clouds"-pack into the folder and click on replace if you get asksed
6. Patch Mixcraft with xau's patcher again
7. Enjoy your flufy clouds
uhhh, no. i meant that i love mixcraft texture pack and i would like to put clouds back in. are you saying that i have to get another texture pack and put those clouds in micraft?

Well only one of them can be the booster texture...
Are you saying we should use number 2 as the detector texture?

Curse PremiumYes, of course.
I had already made a detector texture. The three textures would look like this:

Read the FAQ in the OP. Your question is the fourth or fifth, I cannot tell, due to your wording. Did it black screen or freeze at done loading?
