I added more support for the WildGrass mod and also made pine leaves look different from regular leaves.
They don't really look like pine needles, but at least they're different. A few other things are improved too.
Keep in mind this is a work-in-progress for the next version, so some textures are just placeholders.
For example, I already have textures in place for pine and birch saplings, but they might be changed.
Hey, is Minecraft crashing on anyone else? I'm trying to get onto a clan server, but it crashes even before the Mojang logo.
I have no idea what server you're trying to connect to but if it's working fine for others than it's probably something on your end. Just thought of something else you could try. What version of Java are you running?
The reason I'd ask that is as far as I know Macs update their Java through their "Software Update". I'd also wonder if your Java installation is just corrupted and that'd be why nothing Java related is working how it's meant to (mcpatcher-1.1.12_02.jar, Minecraft itself). If it is updated you could try reinstalling Java on your Mac. (Google it)
If all that is fine then I'd try leaving a reply in here:
Maybe you could add the original pine needles in the Alt pack for Alpha maps. I don't think it should matter to most though.
Don't worry, the one I included in the image above probably won't be the final texture for the pine leaves.

Why is the sponge continuously kept in the pack when it's a removed block?
I think some multi-player maps still use it, or you can edit your inventory with INVedit to still get sponges. Of course they're just decoration now.
Well there's that, but also why bother removing an old texture if it hasn't been replaced yet?
I will probably only get rid of the sponge if another future texture needs to use that same square.
Is there any chance of an alternate Sandstone? I can't hardly tell the difference between sand and the sandstone. Could you perhaps do something like a sand coble stone?
Did you somehow change the way creepers act? Because for some reason, after downloading your texture pack, the first creeper i came across exploded instantly as soon as it got to 3 or 4 blocks away from me. I tested it and it happened again twice. Is this somehow related to the texture pack?

No, it isn't possible for any texture pack to change the way the game works. It's just a coincidence.

Otherwise keep up the great work!
Sandstone looks nothing like sand, really. If you're talking about the top texture, then it can look similar, just keep in mind that Sand is much more grainy and slightly yellower than Sandstone... not by much, though. It's pretty simple to find out tho. Hit it and see what sound it makes :tongue.gif:
Besides, it's SANDstone, it's supposed to have a certain similarity to Sand.

Make the Glowstone look kind of like marble, like the one that can be used for Painterly Pack!
*Fix'd*. Really, spelling and grammar was atrocious. I'm no Grammar Nazi, but if you want to be heard, don't make your posts an annoyance to decipher. If English is not your native tongue, then I suggest practicing a little more. I don't mean to be rude, I'm just offering advice - otherwise people may ignore you.
That aside, this is a decent suggestion. Marble.. hmm... I'll edit this post with a Photoshopped image of a marble block so it looks a bit like Glowstone... See what everyone thinks.
EDIT: Nvm. It proved too annoying to Photoshop a Marble slab... too much a reflective surface... Anyway, it could work... like a smooth, orange/red stone, with large, brilliant yellow cracks/fractures in it? That could work...
im realy loving the new leaves, but i dont like the default character it looks like a prisoner , especially on servers.
Really? I think he looks like your typical working-class guy to me! Keep in mind he is stranded in the middle of nowhere with no chance of finding civilization, and all he has to eat is pork and bread. How would YOU look?
I always thought of minecraft as sort of an island-paradise survival game.
Wait, what does the default character look like? I still haven't managed to download the pack...
And I realized a problem with my game. When I go to 'Mods and Texture Packs' and then select 'Open Texture Pack Folder', nothing happens. So I can't select anything. Is that a known bug?

That's not how you install the pack. When you go to "Mods and Texture Packs" it should be on DEFAULT.
Install the pack using the patcher included in the download, then set the texture pack to the default one.

You could also try the Mac version posted in that thread:

The one included in the Mixcraftpack is a .jar where this is a .dmg I highly doubt there's much difference, if any, but it's worth a shot.

Nice pack, I'm getting it!
I like your house
I hope you don't.

Yeah, it's probably because you have mods installed.

What if the lighted arrows were between the ties? In other words, not so long, relatively a bit wider, but not over the wooden ties?
You mean something like this? Are the two on the right close to what you meant?
Precisely! I'm glad you were able to understand what I was trying to say - I had the image in mind but couldn't easily articulate it.
Of the two, the leftmost new one is better in my opinion. I think the narrower arrows give a better shape to the image.
