yes i did, but it didnt work, so i thought "maybe it was the wrong zip file, cause there were 2" and i tried the other one, and that one DID work... so uhh....
No, you don't understand... This texture pack does NOT go in the "texturepacks" folder and you do NOT select it by clicking on "Mods and Texture Packs" from the main menu. If you do that, your bricks will be glitched.
Please just follow the instructions and install the pack by running the HD Texture Patcher.
Hey one thing that i noticed that don't like about this texture pack. The Lapiz Lazuli blocks has purple patches in it. I think that the Lapiz Lazuli blocks should have a blue and dark blue tint but not purple.
i tried to do it the normal way, i followed the tuturial video... step by step... but well, if only the brick(s) are glitched, its not a very big problem...

The bricks arent the only things that are glitched. I bet your compass is broken, your watch is broken, you gold blocks are glitched, you pumpkins are glitched, your netherrack looks like blocks of water, and your biomes are not colored correctly.
But if you really think you're okay with having all of those glitches, then whatever floats your boat I guess.
I found a problem when you install a mod. I installed 3 mods after I installed the complete texture pack and when I loaded up minecraft the fonts were over lapping. I installed the texture pack right. Maybe its a problem with the hd texture patcher.
Texture pack is GREAT. No installation problems, the instructions were very clear and easy to read, theres not much more I can say.
Though, on the gold and iron blocks, their textures just don't seem right. I have to say that I liked the smoother and simpler default textures better, because it actually looked like a block, rather than a bunch of bricks.

The idea was that it should look like a stack of gold ingots. I figured that since gold has vitually no purpose in the game other than to make watches, people could construct piles of gold ingots inside vaults or something.
Or I suppose you could always make a golden brick road out of them.
I was trying to download mixcraft, and I followed the directions exactly, but when I selected my file and went back to complete texture packs, there was no zip file.
Is it a problem that I'm using a Mac? On Safari?

Ok, I can see that.
But the iron is just like, What? it looks like someone combed a clay block.(no offense intended).
though, for what its texture should be, I really don't know. Just something simple with an iron color i guess.
Just so everyone knows, I will to be away tonight and I won't be back until tomorrow night. This just means that if Notch releases Beta 1.4 tonight (which is entirely possible) then I can't update Mixcraft until thursday.
However I have already started working on the cookie texture, so I'm still being proactive!

I will try to make the iron block look more irony (no pun intended) for the next version, but no promises.

Hey Koolwitak, do you think you could possibly add onto your texture pack for mods? Like Industrial craft and (probably saying it wrong) Fancy craft? I have the texture pack on and when I walk around underground and I see a bronze ore block, it looks like the original texture XD Just a suggestion, thought it might give you something to do too if you didn't have anything else to do.
Also, why do you hold the shovel like a spear? (I'm not exactly complaining, me and my friends love having "spear" fights with the shovels, its just odd.)

Cause there's two positions, chop or poke (icon positions). Do you chop at (like an axe) dirt? Or do you poke (as in dig) at it with a shovel?

I've never though about it like that, i guess its more realistic.
Buts isn't it more minecraft for all the tools to be positioned the same way?

I personally am a huge fan of SMP's torches
The picture is a little bit fuzzy and big because i resized it in paint.net
Well For Me Everything is fine except the water, lava, leaves
many other blocks are messed up using your pack..
Read the third question in the FAQ at the bottom of my original post.
Yeah that's right. I want to wait until Notch releases the wolves (probably within the next couple days)
