I got a ****ing virus from your media fire link. Just want everyone to know that.
Blame the website, not me. Did you ever wonder why hardly anyone else has said this? You just happen to get unlucky, so I'm sorry that happened. My advice would be to try upgrading your virus protection.
(To be honest, I have absolutely NO virus protection at all, and mediafire works just fine for me)
off-topic reply
It's funny that I have 2 antiviruses, but I disabled norton due to it blocking removing a ramdom important file I have. Microsoft SE on the other side seems quite unusual, for it does not 'auto-scan' my computer.

Builderjim, what did you click, a Click here to start download.. or something else?
if it's the first, then WTF because that is supposed to give you the zip with the folders containing the texture packs.
Secondly, with regards to the above, I've made a set of armours that look more like their inventory icons suggest, it's what I use, but I was wondering if you'd like to use them as an alt. add-on, feel free.
I basically took your old textures, and gave them a do-over. See what you think?
Thanks, they look really good! I will have to test them out first, but I will at least make them alternates.
If you have time, maybe you could also do the reverse of that (make icons matching the current armor). Whatever you want to do is fine with me. Either way I still appreciate the donation.

Ok your faq has to be changed, modloader v5 supports hd fonts(which is good, no more screwed font)
modloader v4 is **** that conflicts with the fonts.
Thanks for informing me of that, it makes things much less complicated. I just updated the FAQ.

sorry if this is a dumb question, but I'm getting this error when selecting the mixcraft hd zip in the patcher: There was an error opening minecraft.jar. This may be because: etc. etc.
You shouldn't take out the "etc etc" from the error message. What does it say? "This may be because...?"
Also you should tell me what kind of operating system you have (Windows, Mac, Linux...)
Thanks in advance, I'll use basic for now :smile.gif:
The pack has many versions. You have to extract the version(s) you want.
It's all on page 1...video included
I didn't mean that it automatically WAS a dumb question; of course I read everything in the OP and followed the instructions exactly for using the HD pack, but I then received this error message. I wasn't sure if someone else had the same issue somewhere in the thread. The basic pack however installs fine with the In-game selector method, so I am using that until I can figure out why the HD pack install isn't working for me.

Windows 7 Professional 64 bit -
"This may be because - the file has already been patched - there was an update that this patcher cannot handle - there is another, conflicting mod applied - the jar file is invalid or corrupt." "You can re-download the original minecraft.jar by deleting your minecraft/bin folder and running the game normally. Please see log window for more details" (pasted in previous post)
again, tried deleting the bin folder as it suggests, tried re downloading, tried moving patcher into the bin folder, I have the legit game and no additional mods.
Hey this is my favorite pack but one of the very few things i dont like about it is the gold blocks when you place them in the top right corner theres a flame and it makes the gold block look not very good when placed.
I have no idea if this problem has been posted before, but seeing as this thread now has 80+ pages, i'm hoping someone can give me a link or a quick answer to my problem. I've installed this texture pack correctly (awesome btw) and it's working just great. However, after i installed this, my flymod stopped working. Any suggestions? I'm on a MAC by the way, and never had a problem installing mods for Minecraft before. *shrug*

I'm not sure what's causing it, but the texture pack might just not be compatible with that particular mod.
Not a fan of the gold block. I like using it for decoration and the brick look just doesn't work. Maybe smoother like the original. I know it's supposed to be a stack of ingots but it's just looks crappy as flooring or other decoration.

Do you know how we can implement that armor into our game now without having to wait until kool releases the next update to mixcraft? Thanks in advance.

Right click the picture, save as "items.png", un-zip "Mixcraft HD.zip", replace the current "items.png" file with the new one, highlight all the files, right click them, send them to a zipped folder, rename it to "Mixcraft HD.zip" and then just install the pack as you normally would.
EDIT: Although the bed in that image file is red, and the actual in-game bed is blue, so it won't match.
i went to the map "Appdata" then- "roaming" then- "minecraft", thats where my minecraft map is.
just open the minecraft map, then open textures.
go to the place where youve put the texture pack, the zip, unzip it. then- click on the map, then click on "complete texture pack" then click on "mixcraft HD", there are 3 things in there, "HD Texture Patch", "How to Instal.txt" and "Mixcraft HD.zip", now, what youve got to do is move the "Mixcraft HD.zip" to Textures (in the minecraft folder wich you opened earlier)
DONT UNZIP IT! just put the zipped version in there.
then start up minecraft, and click on mods and textures, and as you'll see theres a new thingy there named Mixcraft HD or something like that, select is by clicking on it, go back, and start up your world, you'll see it worked =D
and btw, the bricks are a bit wired xD
thats "bricks" (when you put 4 bricks together) you can see through it and look at the floor, well, watch through the floor, you can see lava somewhere down ;s pretty wierd. that needs to be fixed :tongue.gif:
but i like it though =D

Click to check it out! Adds new foods and plants to try!
@chris0744, That is NOT how you install this texture pack. I'm guessing you didn't even bother trying to read the "How To Install" text file, which you said you found. It's there for a reason, you know.
Try actually following the instructions, and your brick problem will go away.
yes i did, but it didnt work, so i thought "maybe it was the wrong zip file, cause there were 2" and i tried the other one, and that one DID work... so uhh....

Thanks, they look great! I still have to decide on the default, but both options will be in the pack.

I'm sure a bit of careful editing can fix that.
