A lot of things have changed in this update, but trust me, they should all be good changes!
By popular vote, we have agreed on the newest lapiz lazuli, cobblestone, and bed textures.
Version 27 Includes:
- Redone cobblestone!
- All new lapiz lazuli
- All new bed texture
- Redone diamond block
- Fixed tiling for iron
- All new pine tree
- Fixed shading for planks
- Fixed shading for leaves
- Less saturated TNT texture
- More balanced wheat color
- Remixed reeds/sugarcane
- More iron-looking door
I like red beds better... but there's no reason you can't include the other in an alt file (or elsewhere on the terrain.png) so that everyone is happy. :wink.gif:

I decided on the blue bed (even though I liked red more), but I decided on the red one for Octoberfest Edition.
I tried using this but when I patched it, the texture pack was messed up. Many things were purple and the blocks were mixed up with each other. There were just many problems. Any way to fix this?

thank you for the update. I especially admire the blue and purple combination in the lapiz lazuli.
although I believe the diamond block texture may still need some work, along with the pine leaves.
Try following the "How to Uninstall" instructions, and then installing the pack again.
Sometimes, for whatever reason, re-installing the pack manages to fix the problem.

Ok I got the texturepack to work! I simply pulled the Minecraft HD.zip out of the extraced folder and into my desktop and browsed to it from MCPatcher and patched it. It work's fine now!
Anyway, i like the green and blue ones.
