Can someone make sure the patcher works properly and all of the textures look the way they're supposed to?
Just install it following the instructions, test out EVERY new texture in-game, and post here if all of it works.
Please and thank you!
The patcher works fine, although redstone dust (Unactivated) is now a very black texture. Did you intend for that or is it a bug?
It used to be dim red for me.
EDIT: "New redstone Texture"
I liked the old one better, but okay.
im guessing this wasnt at me but all but the bed showing was fixed... possibly user error there :wink.gif: but the bed is not working at all. Also the new flaming skull painting is blue blocks.

It appears to me that Notch, et. el., have changed grass, leaves, and redstone such that state coloring (biome setting for grass and leaves, power state for redstone) is dynamically set. The new 'terrain.png' file removed the old redstone textures and now has only a greyscale, just like the leaves and the grass (top view only). So, the non-powered color state of redstone must be set somewhere else using a process I don't know about.
I didn't realize till just now that Kool abreviated the vacation (what is 'vacation'?). Not wanting to wait, I modifed the terrain.png and gui/items.png file (to add textures new to the latest Minecraft release), and added a mobs/squid.png file last night. The new items and textures I added seem to be working, but I haven't tested everything (like the bed - I'm going to go test that now).
BTW, thanks for Mixcraft. I can't play MC without it now - it just looks wrong.
Edit: I also just realized I was out of date on my version of Mixcraft. I had 22, so some of the stuff I was missing (like squiddy) was likely already added. I usually just update when Notch releases an upgrade... I don't really want be updating all the time.

As for you, read the huge red letters in the OP, and follow instructions next time, please. :3

Well, how about you look all the way back through the thread, mister "I'malwaysright". Anyone who had this problem... EVER... eventually found out it was their own fault, so you are obviously not following the instructions. Read 'em again, genius. The problem you outlined is a direct cause of not reading the op especially them BIG RED LETTERS IN THAT OP.
To be brief, you failed to read the instructions, and consequently failed to realize that you're using the WRONG ZIP FILE to install the pack. I wasn't trying to be a jerk, but if you want help, NEVER, EVER assume it's not your fault... because 99.99999999999999% of the time, it will be YOUR fault. So chin up, and try again.

Can you not understand english? I followed the directions to a T I step for step followed them and exactly how am i using the wrong zip when there is only one option if you read the instructions as I did. I extracted right from the download and placed it on my desktop just like it was advised to do. I never said it wasnt a possibilty that I was doing it wrong but I redownloaded and reinstalled like 10 times and followed the instructions each time... no change! How you are being a jerk is that you ASSUMED that I was a retard and didnt know how to follow directions when I indeed had. Also not a mister, more assumptions.

I updated this on an extremely slow computer while cutting into my vacation time, so you better like it!!
The In-Game Selector Packs, Mixcraft Basic, and Octoberfest Edition Basic were temporarily removed.
Version 25 Includes:
- Slightly darker-green grass
- Redstone repeater texture
- New redstone texture
- Fixed torch textures
- Fixed painting frames
- Additional 4x4 painting
- Bed texture (made by Aageon)
- Redstone repeater and bed icons
- (A few extra tweaks to some item textures)
Enjoy!
Man this looks much better then the old version. Glad to see your still working on it.
hey basement dwellers who were giving me crap I have it working now.. what I did is NOT follow the directions because the patcher just didnt work.. I physically had to copy/paste the files from the zip and it now works. So stop being virgin, 12 yr olds mentally and think just MAYBE someone had a true issue that had nothing to do with being stupid... OMG and yes a girl with brains who is a geek... you both can **** off and learn to treat others better so you just might find your own real life girl in the real live world... one not made of pixels but enjoys playing with them.

Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong, I installed the pack but no matter what biome I'm actually in the snow is still on grass blocks, I can tell because you can't break the snow off of the dirt, and also the trees all of the holiday type lights on them.
Help! My game looks like christmas! All the trees have lights on them and the ground is snowy!
You either threw the zip file into the texturepacks folder without extracting it and reading the instructions,
or you didn't select "Mixcraft HD.zip" from the Complete Texture Packs folder when you ran the HD Patch.
Help! My compass and watch are broken! Netherrock is water! Bricks and pumpkins look weird!
You didn't install the HD Texture Patch correctly, the way I said to do it in the instructions.
Try watching the video intructions under the download link, and watch and listen carefully.

hey guys i just downloaded the updated version for mac (and did the hd patch update) but it says i can't connect to minecraft.net. Im using the new client and im only able to play offline with the texture pack. Does anyone have any idea why i can't fully log in. I want to play multiplayer =(
Hey there, I created an account on here just to try and get some help with this texture pack.
I've seen it in action in singleplayer on the executable and I really love it, but when I try to play multiplayer in the browser version (don't seem to be able to log on with the .exe at the moment) it gets stuck on 'Updating Minecraft Done Loading'. I know it isn't anything to do with the servers because I can get into multiplayer no problem without the texture pack. I've tried deleting files in the .bin folder but that just updates minecraft and seems to wipe the texture pack off. Yes, I followed the instruction to the letter.
I really want to get this working on multiplayer! Any suggestions?
When you have mods, NEVER use the browser. If you can't login with the .exe the server is probably down. It happens to me all the time. But if you use the browser, your mods will divide by zero and you will get a black screen.
Okay, they won't divide by zero, you'll just get a black screen.
