I had a suggestion for improvement of the pack. Two, actually.
First, I don't much like the sides/bottom of the sandstone texture. I think something like the heiroglyphic version in Painterly would be better. The top texture is great, though.
Second, the glowstone. It's fine in one or two blocks, but in large amounts it's just hideous. I need to look for a better one, but please consider changing.

Honestly, I love the glowstone texture. It's one of my favorite of all texture packs.
The sandstone, I agree, could be made more symmetrical like everything else.

I can try to make something like hieroglyphic sandstone, but it will be a bit difficult to make it tile properly without looking like a long line of the same hieroglyph over and over. The sides and bottom of the sandstone was supposed to look more or less like cobblestone made out of sand. I could at least try to make the stones look more rectangular if people would like that.
Honestly, I don't like the glowstone much either, but every other pattern we tried looked even worse. I'm thinking of making it look more like just a cube of cracked yellow crystal or something like that. Something that could look like a fancy lamp in the real world but still look natural in the nether.

Like these, but cubes:
That sounds like it could work. Thanks for trying.
I have one more suggestion: gold blocks. I don't know if its just me, but the brick-style texture just doesnt work for me. I think it's really awkward and clashy.
I suggest the style of solid gold, slightly shiny-looking, like they have in Painterly, i think. Not sure if its painterly, its the pack that Yogscast uses.
I can't find a picture of it, or i would have posted it here. As far as i recall, it was textured to look like it had cut-off corners?
Could you put those in a new update and see if people like them? Then you could keep them/take them back out depending on popular opinion of them?

I will try to find the texture you're talking about and see if I can make something like it, but no guarantees.
"You are not allowed under any circumstances to distribute my work in any form using adf.ly links. Nor are you allowed to accept donations for anything that makes use of my work." -Misa
you should not be making money off of other people's work unless you have 100% permission from all of them.
I just wanted to say that I agree with all the people that have been saying they don't like the gold or diamond blocks. I don't like gold, diamond or iron blocks in this texture actually. Well, at least, I MUCH prefer the originals to them. So I just made a 32x version of the originals for mine...
But I would definitely love an update to those blocks! Something plainer and more like a plain block or resource would look like, e.g. not corrugated iron.
Other than that, still loving this texture pack! Keep it going Koolwitak! :smile.gif:

I'm not really sure what texture you are referring to, but I can assure you that Misa and I are on good terms with each other and neither of us is using the other's textures without permission.
Misa is my friend, I wouldn't use anything of hers without asking.
Hey great work on the pack. Because of you I decided to make my very own pack (My pack ). The only dislike I have about your pack is the netherrack. Other then that, it will always be my first choice when it comes to texture packs. (Other then my own of course ) :tongue.gif:

Actually the Yogscast uses their own modified version of Gerudoku. Not Painterly. So the texture was probably modified. They always change it for they're newer episodes

Yes. Just make sure you read the instructions included in the download.

PS Whoever didn't get the 32x32 version is just lazy because it's easy to install.
