well Emperorr, i love the This Texture pack you have created, but while playing i found it hard to differentiate gravel from smooth stone, so i upped the brightness and change the contrast a little. it now looks much more gravel like to me, and easier to tell the difference.
Another suggestion I would like to make....your dirt doesnt look like it belongs. What I mean by that is this is a vibrant looking pack and the dirt looks really washed out compared to every other texture.
I apologize for what I said about your texture pack. I was very wrong. You released it and its Awesome! :biggrin.gif:

Are you planning on eventually doing flowers/mushrooms/tools/items?
definitely doing some items soon, namely the signs, and a few others here and there. The flowers/mushrooms take the in-game texture and display it in inventory so shouldn't have to worry about those. And eventually at least get the tools redone. No rush ATM to get armor done though, so I'd look into other armor textures for now. Maybe when server side damage and armor comes out I'll get around to it.
edit: Ok prolly shouldn't have promised an update today when I have finals tomorrow. Study night, I'll try to make it up to you guys tomorrow.
I love the texture pack, I love how it looks. I can't wait till it is all done.
Edit1: And I thought you fixed the water and lava bug?
The bug that stops animation? Install the HD texture fix linked on the first post.
V0.8.15 is uploaded, changes are as follows.
Added more detail and shading to the ore blocks, gold ore no longer looks like banana ore, added lots of contrast and some of the original gravel hues to make it stand out from rock much better. added 2 lighter versions of cloth to the unused area in case anyone wants them, and added a touch more red hue to the books in the bookcase. http://www.mediafire.com/file/1mju616gfuv1zbx/Emperorrs_Textures_V0.8.15.zip
I think this grass might be better suited for people who don't use the better grass mod (grass on the side of blocks), in order to get it to tile really well the colors have to be more static and have less detail. Let me know what you think of the grass though nuke, I don't mind trying another texture for you.
Both versions come with the other's grass style in the unused area of the terrain.png
I'm happy with, and I think I'll always be happy with, the vanilla graphics, but that is a very pretty tex pack, Emperorr. It really gives MC a new feel.
Everyone has a preference, and that's what makes it so hard to make a good texture pack. There will always be a block or two people will be picky about, which is why I wanna have alternatives for all the main textures. But I appreciate the complement. Same to dcww.

I'm still using my modified version of yours for darker wood/lighter cloth, but after using it for a while, I feel like the weakest point of the pack is the ore, which is single-colored to the point of being cartoony.
All of the ores have the same "drops of paint on stone" look -- while they stand out, there's just something about them that doesn't seem to mesh well with the rest of your world, which is semi-realistic. Maybe rather than rounded drops, if you presented them in a more natural fashion, they might fit in better?
For example, iron could be red streaks across the stone, coal could be black seams crossing the stone, diamond could be more angular...

In 0.8.15 I added more shading to the ores and fixed the gravel. Try it out if you haven't. Still not very happy with the ores tho, might completely redo.

Yeah, the screenshots on your 0.8.15 post were actually what I was referring to, sorry.

Its fine, I agree the ores are incredibly lacking. considering I've probably spent a total of 15 minutes on all of them together, I don't mind replacing them. I'll see what I can do for next update.

Just keep the smooth stone that you have I like that look. Can't wait to see some new ores on it though lol.

I was wandering about this as well, your pack is already awesome. If you do tools, armor mobs and the like it'll be absolutely amazing.

Also I did a stab at the grass nuclear cherrio requested, less bright green and cleaner tiling. If anyone wants to try it you can download that version here:
