BTW im going by EST, so it might be quite late for you euro players.
can you give a specific time or an estimate? would help me alot for not staying up all night
Not exactly but I will post when I'm getting the final touches complete and will be done and uploaded soon after. (like an hour in advance headsup)
Most of my time developing this kit has been spent play testing.
Here I am trying to figure out wtf to do with cloth. Built a quick design to test a few of my ideas on. I want it to be pretty and decorative, tough job for lo-res.
Having a hard time finding a pattern I like, might just end up with a light tannish plain looking block. :[
edit: this one looks kinda cool
edit2: I will die and goto heaven when notch finally does dyes for cloth, so many possibilities for patterns! all different kinds of wallpapers and carpets for your home! UGH
Hey Emp....would you at some point consider making this even higher quality? With the MCpatcher, it allows for that, so in the future would you think about making that a possibility?

Yeah I've toyed with the idea of making a 64x or 128x realistic pack next. We shall see, I still want to keep updating this pack even after release until nothing bothers me about it anymore. Also wanna provide a bunch of alternate textures for cloth, doors, and a few others.
If I could have my dirty little way I'd make you guys wait another week so everything would be above perfection but since that would just be cruel I have 4.5 hours left until the weekend is over. I will use that time wisely. So that means it will be posted in less than 4.5 hours.
Will give a heads up when I'm gonna upload it shortly and I will change the thread title to say RELEASED.
Emperorr this texture pack looks to be one of the best and i am excited to test it, but did you texture the water and lava and what not to so we can use the HD fix?
and also sort of off topic but you should try to work on a 128 or 256 pack next, i bet you could get outstanding! results haha.
Its a mini-map mod but it got canceled because notch told him to stop it. I really want it though =/
And yes the picture you posted is perfect for my tastes :biggrin.gif: thank you ;3
Yeah but all the author has to do is make an installer instead of distributing notch's class files. It will eventually be back.
Also I'm including those wood textures, which I do like, but I played around with them today and unfortunately I feel they need a LOT of work before fitting in. They look awesome indoors but when a whole building is covered in it they are too bright and stripey. This paired with the fact the other items will no longer match the color scheme, such as chests, ladder, and windows. I will probably be releasing different version packs, with matching blocks. "red wood pack" "vanilla pack" etc. Though like I said it will be there for you to play around with, but I recommend the standard wood for now, as it is a great accent and looks good in every occasion.
And yeah; I wish I found that wood sooner, love the cherry stained look now. Will be working on a redwood version of my pack ASAP.
