I've been using your texture pack since the 16x16 Realistic pack. It was my first texture pack, ever. I never deviated, until one day I saw a Faithful 32x32 texture pack (it's amazing), and installed it. I was confident, and installed BetterLight to see if I did in fact know how to install mods now. I did. I even found myself editing the Faithful texture pack to look more like Realistic. So, a month later I come back to the Mapping and Modding forum, and I see your thread here and as soon as I see "SMP" I immediately have images of seeing Buxville for the first time through your texture pack flashing through my mind. It was awesome. I just installed your new 32x32 texture pack, and I must say: It is AWESOME. I especially like the torches, chests, and the selector thing for the bar on the bottom. Keep up the great work, and if I ever see you on an SMP (is that a pun? lol) server you can expect many diamonds from me. :smile.gif:
Peace!
EDIT: I see some cows, and they look awesome.
EDIT2: The stone sword looks kinda like a zoomed-in image of the tip of a Q-Tip. :biggrin.gif:

Been noticing this phenomenon more where people who hold standards that above average are silenced while those with standards lower than average are viewed as pleasant and preferable. No wonder mass media is in such ****.
good to hear :smile.gif: This is my favorite 32p pack (though I do have a mixture in terrain.png from various versions of it). Would be splendid to get the new blocks to go with it.
Thanks for working on updating it! I've used it in most all of my videos and have been pointing people to it. Would be unfortunate if they were led to a no longer updated pack.
Well I threw together a terrain.png. I might do items.png and the squid mob later. If it weren't for all the PMs I wouldn't have done this as I haven't really been interested in Minecraft lately. Enjoy!

Hmm.. I find some of your changes odd.
The grass is gray now, some leaves (very few) are also gray. I prefer the old torches over the candles.
Though most of it is an improvement. As long as you make the old and the new terrain both available, I can mix n' match what I like.
Here's what I came up with, after mixing and matching what I liked from both textures:
(notice the grass and leaves are green, torches are back, top of bench is brown, and missing diamond/iron/gold block are back (not sure if they were missing or no longer needed, best to be safe))

odd? how so? It simply means he is going to start using biome colors.

well given the fact that he just started again and not on the day of the update, its probably going to take a while.
your texture pack is the best 32X32 in my opinion!
While it may not be intended, that comment makes it sound like you feel entitled to an update ASAP. He does this for free, so be patient [=
That's what I thought lol
Does he really want to know how long it takes to make a texture pack, or is he being a total jerk. I guess the ellipses gives it away.
Take your time, JUST KNOW THAT I CAN'T PLAY MY FIRST WORLD UNTIL I'M ABLE TO USE YOUR TEXTURE PACK!!!
No pressure.

Ahh, sorry sorry my bad :smile.gif:
Just figured it was a bug because when I started the world I've been using since Alpha, the grass was gray.
Perhaps that was what that video showing you how to import your old world into a new one was all about?
Anyways, still like the torches more than candles. Makes no sense with there being coal and all.
Btw, what about the missing diamond/gold/iron blocks? Is that because he made them the same on all sides now?
