The compression used in this zip file is not supported. Please install texture pack manually, or repackage it as a .jar or .rar file.
Do I need to use the patch? The only thing I wont get is flowing water/lava right?
Read the section about errors on the site. I don't know about the error, it works for me and presumably the other people here. You can try unzipping it then re-compressing it with your own program.
I love this texture pack, but the only thing I want to be picky about is the
look of the cobblestone, and ores.
The cobblestone should have more of a random rounded pattern...
The ores should be shiny and not so... that >_>
All in all, amazing pack!

Thank you! You're right, the ores are really dull. I'll rework them for the next update. So far here's what I have going:
* New snow - done
* New ice - done
* New australium - done
* New ores -
* New armors

No different grass colors? Or are you planning on including that later?
For the foreseeable future, no. Possibly sometime down the line once Notch has fine tuned everything I'll look into it. Right now it just looks bad.
SMP, this texture pack of yours is awesome man, if there was a thanks button, ill spam it XD!, please keep up the good work, love your SMP's Texture Pack =)
I love this texture but I'm having a hell of a time trying to use the alternative skins for the mobs, item skins for reed and bricks/clay and the texture for clay and brick blocks and the Asian leaves but every time I try to edit the terrain.png and the item.png files and I load it into minecraft.jar I have white boxes around all my items and the Asian leaves. Can anyone help me?
So is this going to get an update for the new patch? For some reason when I put it in the textures folder it appears in the list, but doesn't change anything when I choose it.
Are you guys getting the HD bug with fire on gold and bricks, not flowing water, ect.. with this pack since the update? I am but I'm not seeing much complaining about it from other people.

All 32+ mods have this. Use xau's patcher to fix this.

The old way worked, not sure why putting the zipped file in the texture folder doesn't work...
I'll just wait until SMP updates his add-on to support the patch.

That's a problem with XAU's MCPatcher.

For now I'll just try the old way.
