Amazing texture. I was wondering, the glitch with the bricks and gold, how does that happen? Could I recreate that to say sponge to be a "clear" block? Im wondering because if you put it next to something you can see through it so you could create a looking glass. Would you just replace the whole block with the purple stuff?

lol, Im trying to do the opposite and recreate it. Say take the sponge block (its unused) And make it see through, put it on the ground and you can see caves, tunnels and anything else=) Or put it inside a secret chamber in a castle and observe the passage ways. Ill post a new topic with pics of what I mean
how do i install the alternatives? do i overwrite the terrian.png with the autumn?
Sorry if this doesn't sound clear but ok.
First get a paint program that uses .png formats like paint.net(I use this one). Open up the textured SMP terrain.png and paste in the autumn one so it goes on top and covers the SMP one. And if it uses layers, merge it then save it as terrain.png and voila! You are basically done.
I've unofficially dubbed this update the 'Ornate Update'. Most of the wood based blocks, the GUI and the solid ores have ornate and intricate designs on them. Next update I'll be revamping the armors completely along with new inventory icons for them.
* Textures completely redone: Crops, Bamboo, Arrows, Title, Boat, Snow (lighter), Sand, Bedrock, Solid Ores, Torches & RS Torches, Redstone dust, Minecart tracks, Chest(s), Craft Tables, Mob Spawner, Wood door, Iron door, Obsidian, Bookcase, Flowers, Mushrooms
* I redid all the paintings. Default paintings are now more coherent and added better frames + backgrounds. There's two options: Bright, cheery, impressionist and surreal paintings and dark, brooding baroque paintings. Use whichever one you feel works better with my textures.
* Last update I tweaked cobblestone to give it more depth, this update does the same to wood and trunk.
* Completely redid all the GUI (save for hearts/armor/bubbles). More ornate menus and taskbar.
* New mob alternatives: - Chicken to Mallard
- Pig to Wild boar
* Tweaked the following mobs: Chicken, Cow, Creeper, Pig, Zombie, Sheep. New textures for: Skeleton.
* Boo! Update is all reskinned now. Everything. I have disabled the color changing grass because to be honest, I don't like it. The pictures in the gallery below were taken before I did this, so it may look weird.
* Next up for updates: Complete revamp of the armors, new snow related textures, preparing for huge Christmas theme.

Thanks for at least checking out my texture pack, even if it's not for you. If you enjoy them, please feel free to share it with your friends and other communities I don't post in. Any publicity is good publicity I suppose. I spend many hours every week tweaking the hell out of the textures (half the time redoing them completely), just because I enjoy making them for both the community and myself. I don't want to beg or ask for handouts, but donating even a little, goes a long way :wink.gif:.
Gold tools are useless, so I thought I'd make them more decorative than useful. The highlight is a feature, originally a bug, that people liked.

Only complaint is that the container is too dark for me and its hard to tell what your looking at sometimes

As With All HD Texture Packs The Answer Is Always The Same: XAU's HD Patcher.
Here's the fix, if anyone wants it.
The compression used in this zip file is not supported. Please install texture pack manually, or repackage it as a .jar or .rar file.
Do I need to use the patch? The only thing I wont get is flowing water/lava right?
