I agree with nnatt, these mobs need an excellent terrain.png to go with them.
EDIT: Cetus, did you know that if you just rename a world folder World(#), it becomes that world? you can just change a world 3 into a world 5 if you wish.
EDIT EDIT:
I just tried your pack coupled with the sounds. I nearly freaking crapped myself when I was digging out a basement for my indev-style house when I heard the cave sound. Good work!
Nice skins, love the bloody wool etc. Should continue to do more blocks.
I was thinking of making a terrain reskin, but it's a lot of work (especially making sure everything tessellates appropriately) so I want to finish up mobs and such first.

I still don't have a world with readily available slimes so that doesn't help me much.

Whoops, I wanted to post a quick concept of a cow but well, you know...

Glad you like it! One thing I could use is a world with readily observable slimes so I can reskin them properly. If you have one I would be very grateful if you were to upload it.

I reskinned the slimes to be somewhat of a leech when they first came out. Here it is if anyone wants it to go along with this pack.
Yes, I remember liking this reskin, but slimes are different now.

How did I miss this thread?
You probably missed it because it was called "Cetus Amicus Mob Reskin," which really isn't that informative of its content.

I'd like the swords to become bloody kitchen knives!
I'm not working on items right now and probably won't be for a while, but I'll get to them eventually!
I won't be working on armor for a while, the plan is to finish up mobs then redo particles and then items and terrain. The armor, when I get to it, ought to be appropriately frightful and intimidating. That said, unless I get struck by some brilliant idea the armor will be very, traditional, or should I say, it will obviously look like armor rather than say, skin or bones or something, but I'm not sure at this point, could go either way.

As terrifying as the chicken is, I certainly hope you're going to do a proper horrific skin for it T_T
Of course! I plan to remove the head entirely!

The cow looks great.
Glad you think so, because the cow is giving me some trouble. I hope to finish it today though.

Will you be making custom sounds for the passive mobs?
Just so everyone knows, I did not make any of the sounds present in my soundpack. I lifted them from another game and applied where I thought would be appropriate, so I can't give them sounds if there aren't any.
I'm currently using the reskin while also playing on a 'desert' map (water, grass, and dirt has been turned to sand, red flowers to cacti, yellow flowers to dirt, redstone to water, and the leaves have been stripped off all the trees) and the game has been rendered nearly unplayable. I was provided ONE SEED (by Zuriki, who made the map for the thread The Desert Log) and a shovel "to dig my grave" xP. My hope hinges on a seed. There are no passive mobs to survive on. My only hope lies far below the earth in the groundwater and I can't make it down there; the walls whisper and moan and speak of my demise.

I haven't even seen one of the mobs yet.
You are going to die horribly. When you do, tell me how it went.
In other news, I figured out why I was having trouble with the cows, my solution to that problem was to turn the sound off.
EDIT: I remember now that my original reason for creating my soundpack was to change the cow sounds.
I opened up the minecraft.jar and put the mob files in the mob folder. It's only the creeper texture that seems to be invisible; all the other mobs work fine.
Replacing it with the default skin makes creepers visible again if that helps any.
1. Go into the mob folder and open the creeper texture, see if it looks normal. If it doesn't, go to step three.
2. Delete the blank texture, I don't know if it can cause that kind of problem but it's worth a try.
3. Try downloading the pack again and installing it.
4. If that doesn't work try deleting the bin folder, starting minecraft, waiting for it to download everything again and then try installing the pack again.
5. If none of these work I'm afraid I can't help and you need to go to the support forum for help.
I've no idea what I did, but I re-saved the file with default settings using paint.NET; doing so increased the file size a bit. It fixed up the issue pretty nicely though!
Thanks for your time! I'm looking forward to new updates to this pack and some faces for those animals!

UPDATE:
Just need to add hair and some polish.
It's not fun randomly blowing up anymore. ): Just wondering if I could any help with that.
If you could tell me what you did (like how you installed the pack) I might be able to help you.
