I think cobblestone (the round ones) generally look better than bricks. But, i prefer the cobblestone to have a variation in size, not all almost the same size. The pink face on the furnace is cause Notch changed the top part so we have to wait for Dvan to update this pack again. The water faces in the nether blocks can be solved by xau's 32x32 texture pack fixed (A.K.A. mcpatcher)
This, above all others, is my most beloved texture pack (I adore you too, Painterly. You are a very close second!). It's clean and crisp, while still retaining the whimsical feel of Minecraft, all without the world feeling "overworked," or "unnatural" to the original game design.
Bravo, bravo! Heck, I'm still even using this pack while it's missing the new textures!

Pretty much, the only welcomed designed change which I'm still preplexed on why it got recanted is the half step slabs, the cobblestone, the metal iron ore cubes ,seriously Dvan too mechanical and industrial, and the diamonds, they look off, but I can see what he went for there.
Also to the guy asking for the screenshots, I've been looking for them but I deleted them apparently, and to be honest I don't feel like recreating them and such, would it be okay if I upload terrain.png for both of the packs instead?

I'd like to point out that constant NAGGING will not speed it up. Quite the opposite.
True, but he has not announced if he plans to continue working on the pack or not. Most people are asking and showing support rather than demanding the update, or at least would like to know if it will be updated or not (no posts since 12/14/2010 when the released the last update).... It's difficult to nag someone about working on something they have no plans on doing anyways.
