a thing i have with 2 rectangles of diamond looking thing i tried posting but it hasn't appeared or maybe i clicked the wrong button anyway its the thing im holding can someone tell me what it is http://tinypic.com/r/28jef06/7
Yeah, i was wondering this myself. I have one of these in my chest. Does anyone know what this is? I applied the texture fix, so I can't just easily switch back to the default skin. What is this odd object?
That would be the watch, which (along with the nether portal field graphic) is currently completely broken under HD, even with the HD texture fix utility. I believe a fix is in the works, but there's no way of getting this to display correctly at the moment, short of falling back to an officially supported 16x16 pixel texture pack. And personally, I'd rather live without the watch. :smile.gif:

thank you, i had suspicions of it being a watch and they were right, meh watch isn't important.
Ok, let me know if you'll have any suggestions or bugs to report :smile.gif:
The hellstones have the default water texture on them instead of the one in the pack, torches have some weird bits sticking out and the tools have missing pixles in some areas. :sad.gif:
I think you should take a look at the planks cause they dosent look like theyre hanging together kinda :tongue.gif: but thats the only thing that i care about, all the other stuff is great!
(Love this texture pack!) and my house is underwater so i dont use to much planks :tongue.gif:
i noticed that it says it can now work with the 16x16 supported pack thing and i found a vid on YouTube saying that this is their texture pack but some things look different like the fire and water are the same as the default texture pack. how do i get mine to look like it does in this vid -->
also i know that there is a patch for it, but for some reason i can only run minecraft in the browser. it will not let me run it from the launcher and never has. so to me the patch is useless making the water, lava, gold, bricks, and hell all messed up. is the newer download able to work normally in browser?

gold is burning, and brick is part portal/brick/fire
Please read the OP and the recent posts in the thread before posting, both of your questions have been answered. Repeatedly. Including in the OP.
That being said,
1) @Ang_9x9: NO MOD, OF ANY SORT, EVER, works in browser mode. The browser mode runs purely and solely on Notch's code. You can now use the native code's texture picker to change the textures in browser mode, but ANY texture pack which is not 16x16 (which includes anything labelled 'HD' by minecraft convention) will have texture glitches on bricks, gold blocks, pumpkins/jack'o'lanterns, compasses, watches, portals, and hell-blocks. Additionally, there is NO WAY to make the 16x16 modpacks use custom water or lava animations in the browser client, since that also requires Xau's HD Texture Fix utility, which mods (the standalone version of) minecraft.jar. There is NO way to fix this, and there will not be unless/until Notch officially supports textures of higher than 16x16 and custom animations. Also, no non-texture client mods of any sort (AO, minimaps, inventory mods, whatever) will work with the browser version, it runs ONLY vanilla minecraft code and Notch does not (yet) support any sort of client modding besides changing 16x16 textures, although he has mentioned a future mod api planned.
2) @Jaiharad, you are either using the browser version of minecraft, did not apply the 'obligatory HD texture fix' mentioned prominantly in the OP, or both. These problems will NOT go away until you successfully apply some version of that patch to the stand-alone version of the client.

Inventory hacks (that change the contents of your inventory) aren't mods, they just change data in your single player save files. Inventory mods change how the game handles your inventory, such as how stackable items are handled. Browser version doesn't allow the class files in the .jar to changed, thus, inventory mods (and any other mod) doesn't work with the browser version, as stated.
Glad you were able to get the stand-alone client, it gives you a lot more flexibility and (on my machine) works better.
I have one thing to say: I LOVE this pack. Pumpkins look OUTSTANDING, It supports BIOMESES/NETHER. Plus, i really LOVE how you have redrawn all of the tools/items.
Downloaded is yesterday and really Love it.
Only i made a Clock, and the clock didn't show day and night.
Only a pink colour. That's to bad, but thats not that important.
Further i really really love it.
This texture pack is the best I have ever seen. Although, there are quite a few bugs. For instance, the water current is still not animated, nor is the lava. The Jack-O-Lantern top side has a square of water animation on it. The biggest bug, however, is in the Nether. The Red Nether blocks in this texture pack is the animation of flowing water.

All you need to do is apply this HD texture pack fix and it fix's the bugs you see in this pack.
I'm having the same issue after the 1.2.3 update with the texture pack. After installing it only displays the version as being 1.2.2 and it won't let me log onto any SMP servers. Any fix for this yet?
Does anyone have the old terrain.png where the redstone torches looked like Vacuum tubes? The new torches are awesome but my output displays look better with the old style.

All you need to do is apply this HD texture pack fix and it fix's the bugs you see in this pack.
viewtopic.php?t=46173
Choose 32x32 textures
Unclick Custom Lava and Custom water
and then click patch
Fixed...
Heres some
Problem is you needa redo that patch every time Notch matches minecraft. =[
