IMO this is better than the original Minecraft textures. And for some reason it reduces lag on my computer (I use a laptop if you're wondering)
If there was a rating system for skins I would give this pack a 10/10, it looks AWESOME, works really well, and reduces my lag for some stupid reason.

You single handedly sold one more copy of Minecraft! Thankyou so much. I am tempted to try the 256x version when I get home. I never use bricks (they're too red for my liking anyway) but animated water/lava sounds good. Damn awesome in 512x but!

My favorite texture pack. It's the only one that, not only can i stand, I LOVE!! Thanks! Great job, man.

uh i'm trying to use this on mac and i can't extract it to the minecraft.jar...also i use persistor so i'm not sure if that matters, also i'm using UnRarX to extract.

there has to be an update for this skin right now. Or we don't need to update our skins for the new update?

It appears to use the same texture as wood. So no update seems to be necessary.

I didn't ask the creator if I could post this, so If he requests I will take this down, or if he wants he can adopt any of my edits into his pack.

tweaks:
greener grass, more green and dark trees, Removed purple hue from obsidian, different jukebox.

The yellowish grass and trees really bothered me, I tried to aim for realistic colors. Besides that this is by far my fav texture pack, and after my tweaks I find it to be perfectly fitting to Minecraft.

i really want to get the skin pack for minecraft BUT I DONT KNOW HOW! i got window vista and i dont have a license for winrar so i got the first free trial on the list, ive downloaded this brown and bloom texture pack but it comes up as the three little book from winrar, and do i need to download any of the downloads on the minecraft website? i.e. minecraft.exe, minecraft.zip, minecraft.jar etc. because if so, LET ME KNOW, like i said i really want this texture pack and i need someone to help me please!

This is Awsome - How about adding the Compass?

I'm having an issue with particles surrounding the torches. Is this intentional?

Can someone please make a .zip file of this? Winrar, Unrar, and whatever else don't work on my Mac.

how do u apply it

Can someone tell me how to add a compass to this texture pack? Kind of sucks when I make one and go to use it, but it's invisible.. sort of defeats the purpose of a compass to begin with. lol

This pack looks amazing i went through the instructions for windows and when i opened it it updated showed me the new title and than after 5 seconds (more than the original title) the screen turns black and i cant play any fix for this?
