Heh, yeah, this was my mess around world where I just went nuts with INVedit. That's a diamond block highway.

In the pic included in the post above me, whats the dirt looking block with the green slashes through it? The one right next to the glass.
Those are vines (ladder) placed against a dirt block. What it's next to is actually ice, glass is the dotted line pattern.

Wow. Just....wow. I was just watching a tool-assisted speedrun of Mario 64 on YouTube last night and thought to myself "I wonder if these textures would carry over well to Minecraft?"
You've answered my question. This pack looks amazing.
Kudos to you, creator-guy (I forgot your name :SSSS:)
I'm surprised you don't remember me from the painterly thread, but thanks.
Updated for Beta 1.2! Thanks to everyone for 4703 downloads!
In this update:
[*:2fcla89z]Colored wool added, red carpeting has been moved to red wool and white wool has been replaced with a proper replacement. Not all of the wool are merely recolors, some are additional textures for even more decorating possibilities, such as the roofing and tiling from Princess Peach's castle.
[*:2fcla89z]Cake modeled after the cake in the ending photo has been added. I'm particularly proud of this one.
[*:2fcla89z]Sandstone blocks, modeled after the pyramid in Shifting Sand Land.
[*:2fcla89z]Dispensers, modeled after Bullet Bill launchers.
[*:2fcla89z]Lapis Lazuli Blocks are modeled after Thwomps.
[*:2fcla89z]Since I've moved the blue bricks to blue wool, sponges have been replaced with Crystal Taps, the mechanisms that raised and lowered the water in Wet-Dry World.
[*:2fcla89z]Pigoombas and Bob-omb Creepers added, as previously shown in the thread
[*:2fcla89z]String, papyrus, and seeds have been added. Seeds are loosely based off of the seeds from Yoshi's Island.
Note that not all 1.2 textures have been added in this update, and some are still placeholder.

I only download this because of the paintings :smile.gif:
Now i change them with my John smit texture pack and then i got the most epic paintings ever.
My idea was to use a painting with a secret door (lots of tutorials if someone doesn't know how it works)
And then behind the secret door I make a replica of the map corresponding to the painting :biggrin.gif:
Ps. Super mario 64 is the very first game i have ever played in my life.
I think you should try using the rest of the texture pack for the full effect of a recreation.
hey. i wanna disable this pack till its actualy finuished beacos its kinda glitchy. but i dont know how. any tips?
Depends on which method you used. If you used the texture switcher, you can go back to default or any other packs you have installed by clicking on "Mods and Texture Packs" on the title screen. If you installed manually or used Xau's Minecraft Patcher, go into %appdata%\.minecraft\bin and delete the file that says "version" and then start Minecraft again. This will reset Minecraft to default.
However, I must ask, what glitches do you mean? If it's fire/portal animations on blocks like Gold, that can easily be fixed by using Xau's Patcher linked in the first post.

Yea. It was exactly that. white wool blocks where red, black was purlple and looked like it just came out of development. Because it had the borders and pixe outlines and stuff. It was truly wierd indeed.
Sounds like you downloaded an older version, because wool was supposed to be red in the older versions, and it being an older version means that any textures added in the update on the 13th will show up as the "purple unused texture" texture. The newest version has those missing textures.
When I downloaded it, it was successful, but when i tried to use it, it just showed the default minecraft texture. Any reason why you think this might have occured?

If you say "plz" because it's shorter than "please" we say no because its shorter than yes.
I downloaded this again, and I didn't do anything to it this time to make it work. But when I put it my texture pack folder and selected it, it crashed my game! This makes me sad because it looks like an interesting pack. Please help.

Hmm. Did you have it selected in the texture switcher? Do you use any mods?

You put it into the texture pack folder as is, right? Have you used any mods?

Thank you.

Skeletons are already Snufits, and I have no idea what hériss are. Foreign enemy name, perhaps?

Try installing it with the previously linked HD Patcher, that should work.
I feel that i NEED this texture pack more than anything.
